"I first met Ghassan the owner many years ago when he taught my sons to swim. As I left Lebanon in 2006and had business in Jounieh it was a great opportunity to stay at this beach resort. I have mobility problems and Ghassan kindly gave me a spacious room on the first floor near the lift with a walk in shower. Breakfast was like being in someone’s home. Fresh manouches, labne and olives and some days cooked fava beans. I had great food and time there. I was disappointed that at the beach they did not sell fresh lemonade. Apart from that, exceptionally clean, friendly, helpful staff."

"Great central location to everything. Suites are spacious and well decorated. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. He made sure all our needs are met. Staff extremely nice and professional from welcoming us on arrival with the most locally made fresh lemonade to walking out with us upon departure wishing us safe travels. We had planned on staying at another hotel to try out other locations but we booked again and went back to this hotel few days later! Amazing experience!"

"The resort itself is very nice and clean however, even though the rooms are non smoking, they both had a strong scent of cigarette smoke. The pool is kept clean, and there is an onsite fast food type of restaurant. If you’re in the area I 100% recommend walking to Portofino for dinner. It’s a little pricey but so worth it."

"I recently learned about the way this hotel/resort has handled the cats that used to live peacefully on the property, and I am honestly horrified. These animals were part of the resort’s charm — friendly, harmless, and loved by many guests - myself included. To hear that they’ve been mistreated and removed in such a cruel way is beyond disappointing; it’s vile. No level of comfort or luxury can make up for the lack of basic empathy and respect shown here. I would never support a place that treats living beings this way."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Jounieh Suites Hotel. The staff and owner made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All amenities were available and the front desk was very responsive to any request. The location was great as there was a few restaurants, corner store and pharmacy all within walking distance. Many other great places just a very short taxi ride away. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Lebanon. "
