What a transformation from the last time we stayed here which I admit was a long time ago but it’s definitely a case of the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan to use a fairy tale comparison.

 Now a ”Hotel The Originals” the rooms have been completely revamped and brought right up to date with not just a new look but also a new quality to the furniture and fittings.
 The shower room is really good, the WC is separate and the bed was really comfortable. 
It’s good to have a desk and a small armchair too and there’s a lot of space in the fitted wardrobe.

 Clean, modern lines with the decor and the room was spotless.

 The only slight hitch was that the sliding door to the balcony was really stiff and I presumed it must still be locked somehow until the receptionist came to open it and basically it just needed a lot more force than I was using. That having been said though that was the only very slight hitch.
 The rooms now have electric roller blinds so that’s a plus too.

 On-site parking is included in the price of the room and there is lots of it which is one of the main reasons we booked as Roscoff now with it’s “blue zone” parking in town can be difficult, especially if you want to park close to your hotel or if your car is laden to the gunwales and you don’t want to leave it on the street some hundred yards from where you’re staying.

 The location of the hotel is very good as there’s a small path which leads from the hotel to the centre of town and takes just a couple of minutes to walk. 

I can’t comment on the breakfast though as we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was served (breakfast starts at 07.00).
