"The family room was decent. The faucet design was truly baffling – it was impossible to get the water temperature right. The service, however, was absolutely fantastic! They provided corn to feed the swans, complimentary mineral water, and snacks. There was also porridge and side dishes in the evening, and breakfast was good too. My only real complaint is the parking. The entrance to the parking lot requires driving over a curb, and the surrounding area is probably the most congested part of town. There's a street next to it that looks like an open-air market, completely lined with stalls and illegally parked cars, making it incredibly difficult to navigate. The hotel rooms generally don't get any sunlight because of the tall buildings to the south, so you have to guess whether it's sunny or cloudy outside."

"The first time I went to Sanmenxia, I mainly wanted to see the first dam of the Yellow River. I chose Mingzhu Hotel (City Government Branch) mainly because of its convenient transportation and good online reviews. However, I was still amazed when I checked in! Of course, it was not just Mingzhu Hotel (City Government Branch) that amazed me in Sanmenxia. First of all, the hotel was unexpectedly clean and tidy, and very atmospheric. The attitude of the front desk staff was very good, and they even gave me a plastic skin for my ID card. Especially the breakfast of the hotel, whether it is the taste of the dishes or the environment, it beats the four-star hotel! Of course, as the first dam of the Yellow River in the 15th key project, the Sanmenxia Hydropower Station is really solemn and atmospheric. After more than 70 years, it still contributes to the management of the Yellow River and the power industry. Sanmenxia is a clean and peaceful city. Swan Lake Wetland, Shanzhou Park and Baolun Temple Pagoda are also worth seeing. It is particularly worth mentioning that the public buses in Sanmenxia are free for veterans! I also heard someone swiping the card on the bus halfway when I was riding the bus, and the bus prompted "Veteran Discount Card"! So, when I returned, I specifically asked the bus driver if I could ride for free by swiping the veterans’ preferential card.
