Virginia Hotel
"Family owned hotel! The staff are so nice, welcoming and helpful! Made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast lady was very passionate about making food the way we liked it. She frequently asked to know our allergies and what veggies we disliked, then proceeded to make changes to the foods so that it matched our tastes. She said “well it’s a small hotel, so i might as-well serve you some food you’d like to eat”. It was such a nice and welcoming gesture. Cleaning maids were sweet and positive too. Rooms and halls felt very clean. We’ll be returning to Samos again, and we’ll be staying at the Virginia hotel. 10/10. Best experience for the price you will get."
Doryssa Seaside Resort
"Lovely hotel. A bit dated in some common parts. Great location right next to beach, with great beach bar that you could get drinks and food delivered to your sun bed. Cushions on sun beds which was good, with plenty on the beach and pool side. Bedroom was good sized and a comfy bed. Only downside was the lack of storage space and no kettle in room if you wanted a hot drink. There is a fridge and a safe. Only downside was breakfast, hot food wasn’t at all hot…. cold plates as well. Omelette man did a good trade as that at least was hot. Cold meats etc were fine, lots of choice. Usual queue at coffee machines which can’t be helped. Walked into Pythagorio every night as only 15 mins max walk on a good path. Loads of choice of restaurants, with a lovely harbour. Very near the airport but flights not obtrusive as very few in a day. Hired a car from the hotel office in the square, reasonable and easy to get around. Would come back again as Samos beautiful."
Doryssa Lithos Hotel
"Lovely hotel, very modern. Room and bathroom very comfortable, lovely sea views. Included breakfast very tasty and varied, by the pool. Lovely pool. Excellent gym - really well equipped! 12 min walk to the port and beach. Cannot be faulted!"
Nereides Seaside Apartments
So Nice Hotel
"Back from 1 day, I have to say a very disappointing holiday regarding the cleaning of the room done only one day in a week because we pointed it out to the assistance. The shower knob was broken, we left and it remained like that. The lock of the glass door of the room located on the ground floor was broken, we reported it, but no one was seen to fix it, we stayed a week with the glass open and anyone could enter. After 3 days we threw the two bathrobes on the floor to have them changed, they took them away and never cleaned them again. The village has no security guard to control, in fact anyone came in and occupied the sunbeds and umbrellas available to us in the village. Even the swimming pool was full of people who do not stay in the village. On Saturdays and Sundays it was a nightmare, the village was full of local people who spent the weekend in our village without authorization, a sea port. In order to use the umbrella, we holidaymakers had to go to the beach at 6.30 in the morning to find a free umbrella, because everyone was already occupied with towels from the night before (a nightmare) In some rooms there was also no hot water or even water due to breakdowns, fortunately at least this didn't happen to us The staff doesn't speak Italian at all and doesn't even understand it The only bar closes at 7.30 pm and it's no longer possible to drink anything Instead, as for the restaurant I have to say that nothing was missing and the food was good, all Italian chefs. The entertainment guys were always present without being intrusive, we played and joked with them, the head entertainer Miko, a great, very good person together with his wonderful staff made us have fun 👏 Thanks also to Rosita from Veratour assistance, she is also always present In this village there is a lot to do and improve, I don't recognize it as a Veratour village, having traveled with them for years both in Italy but especially abroad it has nothing to do I've been home for a day and what I miss is the good food found ready and the entertainment guys😂🥰"
Casa Cook Samos - Adults Only
"We could not accommodate due to reasons beyond my control. A hotel that is not customer oriented. They did not respond to any of my emails. They made no effort to alleviate our suffering."
Nepheli
"Dirty! We should have left from the first moment and called the health department! Shame on our country! We stayed with my family from 20/07/23 to 25/07/23 by necessity after I had booked it with social tourism vouchers! We had planned to stay (before we went) another three days! I will only refer to our rooms! We didn't expect luxuries! Didn't we mind the small old-fashioned TV that didn't catch any channels or rust on the water heater but the phone in the shower and the short curtain in the bathroom that were yellowed by the passage of time? or /and/ the lera? On the balcony, ropes for hanging clothes and 3 clothes pegs! The small table and the plastic chairs for the balcony were on top of a wardrobe and they also needed cleaning! They changed our towels when the 5 days that were paid for by our cashier were now over and bearing in mind that we would stay another 3 days at our own expense! When we were leaving (and after he asked us for the legal sanction to cancel the reservation) we told him about the above (complaints) he told us that we had to tell each other from the first day to give us other rooms! In other words, he had more clearly, but he gave them selectively? We have been going every year for 15 years on vacations with and without social tourism and we have never encountered anything like this before! I am amazed at the good comments that some have written!"
Scorpios Hotel & Suites
"Just enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Nansy and all her team were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very good and clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the pool was lovely, as were the views. We will definitely recommend Scorpios to our friends. Sue & Peter"
Hydrele Beach Hotel & Village
"The room and cleaning really good. The beds where for me just fine, good quality! The pool just ouside our room was clean and same with the sunbeds. People in the reception was a credit to their proffession, over and beyond! Their in house rental of cars is competetive and the cars are good! On a personal view I would prefer a scooter 125cc for drive around on the island but the Micra works just fine🙂 I do find the food to be good and the kitchen personal friendly, most of the waiters / waitresses one was rather hunting we had payed 4280€ for 3 weeks including breafast and dinner coffe and softdrinks are included with breakfast but only plain water with dinner and price for coffe and sparkling water for 2 was close to 20 € and the way we where made aware of that was not so fun a sour feelling sadly I would understand paying extra for beer, wine, spirits lol but 20€ per day for sparkling water and a cup of coffe.. Btw we had several days on wheels around I liked my stay here otherwise worth the money. Next year 3 weeks at Method 🙂 Happy summer 😎"

Samos Bay Hotel by Gagou Beach
"Bakımsız bir otel manzarası harika kaldığımız odanın banyosu çok kötüydü ve kokuyordu hijyenik değildi.. kalvaltısı çok başarısızdı"
Aphrodite Samos Suites
"The hotel is nice and it looks like Greece village style. The breakfast is delicious and there are lots of drinks, but the service is bad. The towels in our room were dirty(grey color) and the pillows have spots. We have lots of questions to cleaner Christina. She can’t do her job and speaks a lot. She gives us unsolicited advice and talks rudely. Additionally, she didn’t want to change dirty towels in our rooms. Also, beach towels were old with spots ans holes. It seemd that they bought it at a thrift store. Several times we didn’t have enough towels for the beach. They have only a few amount of them. Moreover, they have a late check-out, but they insisted that we chek out at 11 am. That caused problems for us because we were with kids. I reccomend this hotel for few days with your towels."
Armonia Bay Hotel
"My husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful week at Armonia Bay Hotel which I have renamed (Tranquility Bay) as it was so peaceful and tranquil. We were greeted by Ari and Alex (dad and son). The breakfast was sumptious. Something for everyone and Eleni and Efi did a wonderful job, especially when the hotel was full. I must compliment the chef, as she made the most wonderful eggs with feta cheese. The staff worked very hard especially at breakfast. Alex and Fortis also helped out. Evening meals at Armonia Bay were also very enjoyable and Mario was on duty and very helpful in making recommendation. The kitchen is closed on Friday evenings, so you have to make alternative arrangements. Also, it helps if you could make a booking for dinner, so Chef knows how many covers she will be called upon to make. Overall, wonderful views, wonderful staff in beautiful surroundings. The pool was glorious and inviting on a hot day. The views are lovely overlooking the bay. They are a number of restaurants on the beach, providing music and also a swimming pool. The centre of Kokkari is a 20 minute walk. It's ok during the day, but not advisable night time. Sophie's travel in the centre provided us with information regarding the buses, and armed with this, we were able to travel to Samos Town and beyond, as taxi fares are very expensive. The No.3 bus does a loop to Tsamadou beach, and then onto Samos. Fares to Samos are 3.60Eur for 2 to Samos. Taxi fares are 22 Euros to Samos Town. You could also get the bus in the centre at St Nicholas Church, which takes you to Samos, where they are a number of buses to various parts of the Island. There is a bus timetable in reception, but the bus doesn't arrive at those times, and doesn't stop outside Armonia Bay hotel, and as I said earlier, you need to go to Tsamadou beach. The bus sometimes goes pass Armonia Bay Hotel from Samos Town and you need to check with the driver. They are a number of restaurants in the centre, mostly on the seafront. they are also some away from the seafront. We found Samia restaurant gave us everything we needed, and it became our favourite in the centre of Kokkari. The staff and owner were very welcoming. In Samos Town we had lunch and dinner at Zen restaurant, and here again it was great. It was truly a memorable week, as it was very relaxing. Most of the staff were there to say goodbye, including Eleni, Alex, Fortis and Ari. It's somewhere that I would definite recommend, if you ae looking for a a quiet place for a holiday. I will definitely return to Armonia Bay Hotel in the future. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!"
Kalidon Beach Hotel
"Absolutely fantastic hotel, service was great, the rooms really clean and well looked after and everyone was really friendly. Loved it"
Semeli
"It was our first holiday on Samos and we stayed in a really good hotel. Margarita and Monica were really helpful in everything, their advice was very successful, whether it was the beach or the restaurant, they were never wrong. Towels, sheets and the room in general, everything was very clean. Although the breakfast did not have a lot of variety, everything was delicious. The location of the hotel, the size of our room, the view, everything was very good, it was only 2.5 km from Kokkari, there were wonderful beaches within 3 minutes walking distance. If we were to go to Samos again, we would definitely choose to stay here"
Arion Hotel
"Great location, good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. Lovely views over the bay. Served quite good food most days and Greek night is done extremely well and worth attending. Easy walk into Kokkari which has a nice feel about it with some shops and a good range of restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel does provide a bus service which runs until 5pm if you don't feel like walking back up the hill. Great place and would be happy to go back to this hotel."
Ino Hotel & Suites
"My sister and I have just returned from 10 days here. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel, and the staff, whom worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. The location, being in the hills, was so peaceful, on many occasions we had the pool to ourselves, and it felt more like a wellness retreat. Breakfast was included and the choice was vast. Lunch and dinner could be taken on the terrace, overlooking the sea, and was beautifully present and tasty. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The room we had was large, with a great view of the sea and was serviced daily. Toiletries were included. Our highest review, however, goes to Yiannis, the manager. He was nothing short of brilliant, he was always there, helping us, nothing was too much trouble, and anything we asked for was provided immediately. Yiannis, went over and above on every occasion. We will definitely be returning next year."
Anna Studios
"A wonderful stay, yet again. Great hotel, and wonderful staff. Yannis and Apsa make the stay a pleasure. Even if Yannis made us stay up drinking with him until all hours. lol. If you want a relaxing break this is definitely the place to stay."
Doryssa Method Hotel
"Such a wonderful experience. The combination of a beautiful location, newly renovated accomodation, such friendly staff and excelant service. The rooms where cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily. Beach towels provided twice a week. Breakfast fresh and lovely. It was my birthday during the stay and was woken up with cake and Prosecco. What a wonderful gesture 🎈 when I got sick the staff delivered fruit at my door with a cute note. Another unexpected gesture. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Hope to be back soon."
Aegeon Hotel
"Everything was perfect!"
Erato by Samian Mare
"Hotel Erato by Samian Mare was great! The hotel was fully renovated, hotel service was really helpfull and so nice and kind. Room was cleaning every day, drinks and food at the restaurant wasso good, we spend there great time together and we'll reccommend this hotel. Hope we'll come back here soon :)"
Samaina Port Hotel
"Wonderful stay at this hotel in Karlovasi. Clean, well-organized, and quiet, in a small fishing village in Karlovasi. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help with any needs."
Nafsika Sea View Apartments
"Nafsika Villa's became our favourite destination. Feels like home at our 3rd time visit in 6 years. Great see with private beach. Very friendly family owned relax apart hotel. Giorgina makes you feel as relax and happy as possible."
Samaina Inn
"Visited Samos for the first time and Samaina Zion was a lovely hotel. My bedroom was incredibly spacious and the bathroom huge. You cannot fault the staff who work incredibly hard - the cleaning staff early in the morning around the pool area were a sight to see! I have never seen an area be as thoroughly cleaned before!! The dining area staff are incredibly attentive either tables being cleared and cleaned very quickly . Food is very nicely presented and hot / cold as appropriate. The lady at the pool bar was so friendly and although the cocktails are a bit basic, they tasted nice! The wine is good, not rough and my friend was quite happy with the beer. If you want to splash the cash occasionally on a cocktail from the inside bar, you won’t be disappointed! There is a small beach opposite the hotel with free dinners and umbrellas. Good idea to take beach shoes as it is quite pebbly but the sea was lovely and clear. We went up to the beach further up the coast one day and sat by the Hippi bar which served lovely food and drinks, well recommended! The only criticism I have is the entertainment, or lack of it! When we were there you could do Pilates or yoga on the beach early in the morning and there was table tennis and z gym which I didn’t investigate. On Monday and Thursday there was live music which I’m afraid was fire!! Greek night on Wednesday was a bit better with people encouraged to join in dancing but it still wasn’t all that great. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, as I say the staff are incredible. Probably wouldn’t stay again but only because of the location, a bit too far from anywhere."
Sunrise Hotel
"The hotel is run by a family that does everything to make you feel welcome. There is always someone present, and they are ready to answer questions or assist with anything else. Whenever we had something planned, we were asked afterwards how we experienced it, and we were always welcome to ask for advice; the staff is therefore very involved. The rooms are cleaned neatly every day, and you receive a fresh set of towels. The breakfast is simple, but all products are super fresh and tasty! Air conditioning and a mini-fridge are available in the room. We had a room with a sea view, which was truly beautiful. However, your balcony does face south. The swimming pool is also clean and equipped with all amenities, such as toilets and changing rooms. Everything is small-scale, which makes it very cozy. There is ample parking space right outside the door. The hotel is located in Ireon; if you rent a car, this is the perfect location because you are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The village is charming, and there are various restaurants and bars. Additionally, you are not far from all the sights due to its central location on the island. Tip: If you happen to stay here, be sure to visit restaurant Akrokioli just a few meters away!"
