"Excuse me, I'm not usually one to write bad reviews, but I have to say something. There's currently construction in two locations. This means construction noise throughout the day at the main building and next to the beach huts. In the evening, it's much worse with day tourists partying until late into the night. They play extremely loud music and talk into microphones. The result is no peace and quiet. Furthermore, this also means longer waiting times for dinner for those who have booked accommodation there, as day tourists are given priority. We waited 2 hours and 20 minutes from the time we ordered, and it was cold. They're overwhelmed with the daily garbage collection. There's garbage everywhere. As a result, there are cockroaches. Regarding room service: They advertise that the room is cleaned daily. Unfortunately, this isn't the case; we have to make the bed ourselves. Currently, you can't go in the water because of jellyfish, but the pool wasn't usable either. Far too expensive; the price-performance ratio is completely off. More like a tourist trap."

"Located near Metro Mall, this hotel features its own restaurant on the ground floor. The value for money is good, and the noise level is acceptable. One of the room options is a suite with a small kitchen. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Only downside is they don't have an elevator."

"I had requested a quiet room well in advance, but unfortunately, I was given one facing the street. As a result, I didn't sleep well for two nights due to the traffic and woke up early. On the third night, I was kindly allowed to move to a room at the back. The staff were friendly and helpful, however, I was disturbed by them on the last night. The employees were talking too loudly in the stairwell, listening to music on their phones, and moving chairs. I asked them to be quiet at 11:30 p.m., but was unfortunately ignored. At 2:00 a.m., it was still noisy in the stairwell. The hostel is rather basic. The bathroom has no toilet seat, no mirror, the water pressure is low, and the mattresses are worn out. At least there's a flat-screen TV where you can watch YouTube. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Calbayog, it's certainly an option for a night or two."
