El Portón de Salento ★★★
Hotel Salento Real Eje Cafetero ★★★★
"The hotel is located in the city center of salento. The major problem is the ventilation is pretty bad in the room so it is very humid and smelly"
El Rancho de Salento
"Great place to experience countryside tradition. Beautiful property and the friendliest staff! Would love to come here again!"
Hotel El Mirador del Cocora ★★★
"The view from the hotel is great and the staff are very helpful. But it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the central square of Salento, including a steep climb. If you like scenery, you can choose here. If you want more convenience, choose one in the center of the town, although the town is not big."
Viajero Salento Hostel ★★
"Quiet hostel in the hills of Salento. Perfect location near the main square with a range of restaurants and bars, in the central square you can easily travel to cocoa valley and coffee farms. Informative staff and fairly clean rooms."
Lumbre Forest Lodge ★★★★★
"On behalf of our entire group, I want to say a huge thank you for such a wonderful stay. This glamping site is located in a truly spectacular spot – we were all captivated by the beautiful environment and the peaceful atmosphere. The reception we received was incredibly warm, and it was clear from the start how much care goes into hosting. It was the perfect place to reconnect with nature while enjoying great comfort. Thank you again for your hospitality and for making our stay so special. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing escape"
Hospedaje Camino Real ★★
"I'm sorry not recommending this hotel. I feel disappointed with the Hotel and its expectations. It causes much stress and few solutions. First, they didn't accept my credit card and in the booking he says they accepted it. Second, we arrived at the room and had no windows, and when booking do not inform you, they only report by postum (the same day of check in) , when it is too late to cancel! It is very unpleasant to get to a hotel where the information is not transparent."
Panorama Salento by Dot Boutique ★★
"The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable."
Hotel Kawa Mountain Retreat ★★★★

Hotel Mirador de Boquia Salento
"A beautiful place. Just a few observations. Check the bill carefully when paying, as they may add charges for dishes or extras you didn't order. Need to Improve their efficiency when finding "billing mistakes", avoiding excuses like "It's already been billed,""
Hotel la Floresta Salento
"It was a decent place for the location. Breakfast could improve. Massage is expensive for the market and not good although they make it look good from the outside."
Cocli Hotel Boutique Salento
"I went to Cocli in August 2024. Unfortunately, something unpleasant happened: some money was stolen from the room where I slept with a friend of mine. We spoke to the administration who never apologized for what happened and after requesting a refund (initially accepted), they stopped responding to our emails. Furthermore, regarding the structure, the room was dark and damp."
Casa Serafin Hotel
"The room and the location of the hotel were clean and in order. Unfortunately, the service left to wish. At arrival we received no explanation or instructions about the facilities or breakfast, which caused confusion during our stay. After departure we also received a consumed drink account, while there was no communication in advance, which was unexpected and not transparency. Unfortunately, because with a little better communication, experience could have been much more pleasant."
Beta Hotel
"We stayed at Betatown for 5 nights. Our room was very spacious (family room) modern and clean. No AC. NONE of the hotels in Salento have AC. A guide said it doesn’t get too hot that’s why they don’t need AC. However, I am used to a cooler environment so I had some difficulty sleeping due to the temperature in the room. They did provide me with a fan so that was a lot of help. The shower water was fantastic, you get very hot water. The hotel is also a walking distance to the bus station and to the center of Salento(where you can find ATM, or exchange money) You can wash your clothes in hotel or across the street there is a laundry place. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is helpful and friendly. In my opinion one of the best hotels to stay during your visit to Salento. "
Hotel la Caracola Salento
"We loved staying at Hotel La Caracola! It honestly exceeded our expectations and helped create a homey/lovely experience. Christian & Paula are amazing and helped us feel at home. Christian helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. Both drivers were so friendly! Christian also helped us arrange the tours we were interested in, we basically just had to show up or wake up on time if they were picking us up directly from the hotel. Christian also had great food or coffee recommendations. Paula made us homemade breakfast every morning. Fresh eggs, she asks how you prefer them cooked and fresh fruit (plus other foods)! We also met other friends during breakfast time because of this. The location is great, about a 5 - 10 minute walk from main square. We loved that this hotel seemed to be on a quieter street. Our bed was made every day along with fresh towels. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Salento! Salento was one of our favorite visits in Colombia."
La Casa en las Nubes
"A retirement in the mountain for luxury travelers. Absolutely wonderful! The main room is completely spectacular, we had never been in such a place. Beautiful that served us was wonderful!"
Villa Mila
Hostal Ciudad de Segorbe
"Basic but clean hostel. They have a nice breakfast area (breakfast is not so great) and the person at the front desk is very very helpful. The location is great, a block and half from the plaza Bolivar and the restaurants and shopping on Carrera 6. But, basic it is. Bathrooms are small (BYO soap and shampoo!) and the room we stayed in (one double bed) was cramped (the dormitory rooms looked more spacious). The windows are wooden shutters, don't keep the street noise out, and it can get chilly at night (borrow a blanket from the front desk). WiFi is spotty (won't work in the rooms) but that seems to be par for the course in Colombia. I guess it is what you should expect at that price point but I can't help but think that it would be an excellent hotel with a bit of investment! All that said, given the general standards of hotels that are near the plaza, this may be the best place to stay. We took a look at an excellent hotel (great views, great rooms) that is just outside town but I wouldn't want to walk to it late at night. Book this but ask for a room that faces the back rather than the street or, splurge a little and stay in one of the family rooms."
Finca Cardonales
"Hotel staff were attentive and our visit was pleasant. Despite not putting the ‘please clean my room’ sign on our door, the staff cleaned the room and made the beds during our 3 night stay. I would recommend this venue for future travellers visiting Salento."
Ecohotel Pinohermoso Reserva Natural
Hostal Estrella de Agua
"At first, I liked the friendly atmosphere and staff at this hostel. However, my experience was ruined by a serious issue. The day after I checked out, I developed severe itching and painful bites all over my body. It seems that bed bugs bit me badly, making it almost impossible for me to sleep at night and causing serious problems during my trip. I do not recommend this place at all! I hope the management takes this issue seriously and fixes it immediately."
Finca Campestre la Adelita B&B
"Sonia and her family were super accommodating, a great and positive energy and really fun to meet. Also an amazing cook that shared her fresh produce from her small farm to the table. Her finca is a real piece of history and a great stay. Clean, interesting, and peaceful. Also conveniently located close to Finlandia and Salento. Looking forward to staying again on my next visit to the area."
La Cabaña Ecohotel - Valle del Cocora
"La Cabaña - a traditional finca in the heart of coffee country - is a very special place. Filled with heart, it gets everything right. The setting by the river in a beautiful valley is as peaceful as it is perfectly located for easy trips to Salento, Filandia, and the Cocora Valley. It’s an ideal base for exploring or just slowing down and enjoying the landscape. Lena, the house manager, makes the stay. She ooze's warmth and simply can’t do enough for you. The restaurant was a real surprise - hands down some of the best food we had anywhere in Colombia, and there’s really no need to go elsewhere for meals. The clean rooms are traditional and the en suites simple, but the beds (and pillows) are immensely comfortable! Also highly recommend the horseback ride with Wilmer. It takes you through stunning scenery and was one of the highlights of our stay. A truly joyful place to spend time in the coffee region."
