"While not necessarily imposing from the outside, it is scrupulously clean inside with surprisingly quiet rooms given it is directly opposite the train station. Easy 10-15 minute walk to the river and the town centre along the Main Street Rue de Gambetti. The husband and wife team running the hotel are warm, friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again next time I am in Saintes."

"It was located near to motoway, so very convenient to stay for 1 night on the way to Spain. For our family, 4 people and 1 dog, we have booked a room having a double bed and 2 single beds, but the room size itself is quite small. Since it is just for 1 night, no big complaints. Parking is easy, and no experience for breakfast as we lelt early morning. In the room, there is a window but it was super noisy (cars passing by) so we could not keep open. Since it is a budget hotel, ok that there is not much stuff but it will be great if there is a small minibar which we can store some drinks cold. Overall, value for money for this type of travelers"

"As always, a pleasant stay at this hotel. Reception is always reachable and extremely friendly. Located right next to the highway yet quiet. Large enclosed parking lot, so the car is safe too. All amenities are present in the room, but unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. However, the breakfast is more than excellent, starting as early as 6:30 AM for those passing through. There is a Leclerc gas station a few hundred meters away. For the diehards, there is also a McDonald's and a KFC nearby..."

"I’ve stayed in Brit Hotels before. They aren’t the most modern or palatial, but they inevitably give you a comfortable stay at a great price. Le Bleu Nuit was no exemption. From the really warm welcome and the help to store my bike in the garage, you knew this was going to be a good stay. The hotel and the room were obviously a little dated, but everything in the room was cared for, it was very well-equipped (including a kettle), there were plenty of sockets, and both the room and the bathroom were immaculately clean. Good double glazing ensured I had a really good sleep even though I faced onto the main road. In short, if you’re looking for cozy comfort in a small, basic but immaculately clean hotel, this is for you. Absolutely recommended, and fantastic value."
