Hotel New Otani Saga ★★★★

📍 1-2 Yokamachi, Saga City

"The Hotel is in an Old Area of Saga Japan and the Hotel also feels very old. Not my ideal type of accommodation."

Comfort Hotel Saga
9.2 (850 reviews)

Comfort Hotel Saga ★★★

📍 1 Chome-14-38 Ekimae Chuo, Saga City

"I rebooked a double room with twin beds, and it was spacious enough to open two 25-inch suitcases without any problem. The location is excellent, just north of Saga Station. JR, public buses, and the airport shuttle are all within easy reach, accessible through a shopping street, yet there's no noise whatsoever. Breakfast is free and quite decent, offering coffee, juice, tea, bread, rice, etc. Dining and shopping are convenient, and the service is proactive and helpful. Highly recommended."

Hotel Route-Inn Saga Ekimae
9.0 (220 reviews)

Hotel Route-Inn Saga Ekimae ★★★

📍 1 Chome-9-50 Ekimae Chuo, Saga City

"Just south of JR Saga Station, just cross the road. The room is small, but Japanese hotels are basically small. It's a bit old, but very clean, no odor, and comfortable. The front desk service is OK. I know a little Japanese so it's convenient, but even if I don't know Japanese, I can communicate in simple English, and check-in is very convenient. The bathhouse is small, but it's always good to be able to take a bath. The breakfast is very good, with many varieties and good taste. There is a big supermarket nearby to go shopping. There are also some ramen restaurants. I went to eat at ふくの家, which is very affordable and tastes OK (but Kyushu ramen is generally salty)"

Garden Terrace Saga Hotel & Resorts

Garden Terrace Saga Hotel & Resorts ★★★★

📍 3-chōme-7-8 Shineihigashi, Saga City

"It can be said to be perfect. The breakfast, pool lounge and service staff all left a deep impression. I will choose to stay again in the near future"

Toyoko Inn Saga Ekimae
9.2 (415 reviews)

Toyoko Inn Saga Ekimae ★★★

📍 1 Chome-10-36 Ekimae Chuo, Saga City

"When I walked to the corridor of the room, I felt a strange smell. I was woken up by a pungent sour smell in the middle of the night. I don’t know if it was the factory sewage discharge in the middle of the night or the hotel cleaning agent. Because I was in a hurry to catch a flight, there was no other way. This place is closest to the airport bus."

Apahotel Saga-Ekimae-Chuo

Apahotel Saga-Ekimae-Chuo ★★★

📍 2-chōme-6-14 Ekimae Chūō, Saga City

"It is near the station so transportation is convenient, the accommodation is clean, the staff is friendly, and I was satisfied with the breakfast service. I was satisfied in every way."

Ryokan Akebono Hotels in Saga City

Ryokan Akebono

"The room was nice and bicycle rental service was available! The front desk staff were incredibly kind, so I had a great time. If there were rooms available on my available dates, I would have stayed for several nights. The hot springs have different times for men and women."

Oogiya Ryokan Hotels in Saga City

Oogiya Ryokan

"It was convenient to have my reservation name at the entrance. The owner was so kind and warm, and I had a comfortable stay. I had a quick flight the next morning, so I had to check out quickly, but I wish I had stayed longer. The bedding, towels, and other items were all very clean. It feels like a historic place, so it has a warm and cozy atmosphere, but that's what makes it so special. The large bath was also very clean. I felt like all the fatigue from my days of travel had been washed away. If you don't rent a car, it might seem far to get there, but the bus number 73 from Saga Station takes about 50 minutes. There are about one or two buses per hour. If you pay attention to the timing, it's a reasonable distance. Also, I regret not being able to fully enjoy the meals served at the ryokan because I overate over the past few days. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We were only two people, but dinner was generous enough for four. The food was also the best I had during my entire trip to Japan. They were very friendly, but a translator is definitely a must. I recommend the Papago app. The bath fee is 300 yen, payable in cash upon check-out. When traveling in Japan... always have plenty of cash! The bus fare was a bit steep, haha."

Sagayamato Onsen Hotel Amandi Hotels in Saga City

Sagayamato Onsen Hotel Amandi

"Suitable for families with parents; the rooms are spacious, and although the location is a bit out of the way, there's free short-distance parking available, so it's not a problem. The onsen (hot spring) is free for guests, and it's segregated by gender. There are various temperature pools, both indoor and outdoor, plus a sauna. There's also a guesthouse within the hotel grounds. The prices are reasonable. One thing to get used to is that you store your shoes at the entrance, then hand the shoe key to the front desk to exchange for a room key. When leaving the hotel, you exchange the room key for a shoe key. This process prevents people from wearing shoes inside the hotel, but it can be a little inconvenient if you frequently need to enter and exit."

Comfort Hotel Saga ★★★
"The twin room was indeed very spacious; opening two 30-inch suitcases was no problem at all. It's very close to Saga Station, right outside the North Exit. Several recommended yakiniku restaurants are also nearby. The bus terminal, where you can catch buses to the airport and Youme Town, is right next to the hotel at stop number 1. The hotel breakfast was decent, and the key highlight was the affordable price. The Mori drugstore at the North Exit is open until midnight."

Garden Terrace Saga Hotel & Resorts ★★★★
"This is my first time in this hotel Although the front desk staff are all Japanese But they are willing to use translation software to carefully explain the hotel facilities to you The location is very convenient and close to Saga Station, only 10 minutes by car. There are many parking spaces outside his hotel. Parking is very convenient. The hotel's in-house restaurant has a delicious breakfast and teppanyaki in the evening There is also a fireworks area in the hotel lobby where guests can purchase and set off fireworks outside the hotel. It is very atmospheric when it is snowing🤭🤭 In addition, the day of check-out was my girlfriend’s birthday. The front desk staff gave her chocolate as a birthday blessing. It was a surprise and I was very happy. I will definitely come back next time🤭"

"A great place to stay in Saga, close to the station with many delicious restaurants nearby. Our only issue was that the beds were a little uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from other guests throughout the night. Other than this we would stay again!"

Furuyu Onsen Oncri ★★★★
"The room size is larger than the Japanese-style rooms in general hot spring hotels. No Japanese yukata is provided, only Japanese pajamas. The overall style experience is a combination of European and American styles. It is not a completely Japanese hot spring hotel. Breakfast is a buffet and dinner is a banquet. Both the indoor and outdoor hot springs are large. If you like a quiet place with few people, you can consider this niche hot spring"
