Tabino Hotel Sado ★★★
"It's nice that there is ondeko drumming and entertainment."
Sado Resort Hotel Azuma ★★★★
"The food was delicious, and there were lots of events to enjoy. I'll definitely stay here again when I go to Sado Island."
Hotel Oosado ★★★★
"The open-air bath facing the sea offered amazing views, and the room's location was superb. We really enjoyed the free night tour and piano performance, and the starry sky was beautiful. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of Sado local dishes and sashimi, all of which were delicious. We were absolutely delighted with this hotel!"
Kanazawaya Ryokan ★★
"The place is not too far from the port, it's good, classic and clean. Ojisan and Obasan there are very friendly, they carried our luggages to our room, lend us umbrellas, speaking English fluently too. Hot bath there is hot and large, room big and futons are comfortable. We stay for 2 nights and they gave us bigger room at the second night. When we leave, they send us to the port by car too."
Yahatakan ★★★
"The hot spring was absolutely wonderful. The water felt so smooth on my skin, and the spacious tub made for a truly relaxing bath. Our room was also very spacious and comfortable. We had a breakfast-only plan, and we thoroughly enjoyed local specialties like Igoneri and squid sashimi! The staff's smiles were also a nice touch. If we have the chance again, we would definitely like to stay here."
Aokiya ★★★
"The facilities are old, but I think it's worth the price. There's no open-air bath, but it's a hot spring, so I think it's fine. For dinner, they served a whole crab, which was great. However, everyone was silent while eating the crab! Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset over Lake Kamo, but it was nice and quiet. The elevator is quite old. I worry about how many more years they can stay in business..."
Rosencat ★★★
"We stayed 4 nights at this home which is run by a friendly lady host. Rooms were of decent size but sparkling clean."
Hotel Mancho ★★★
"We booked an Ocean View Japanese Style Room The ocean view is fantastic. Breakfast & dinner included, good food. Public Onsen offers both indoor & outdoor A show in the lobby & there is a shuttle bus to Kitazawa flotation plant after the show. Excellent arrangement for the guests."
Nipponia Sado Aikawa Gold Mining Town ★★★★
"It was a very interesting experience. The rooms are scattered throughout Aikawa Old Town, so I recommend staying at the main building for convenience. The building itself is a century-old house. Sado Island is very beautiful, and the sea view of Oo-Turtle at the northern end of the island is amazing!!"

Hotel Familio Sado Aikawa
"When I made a reservation for three people through Trip.com, it automatically changed to a quadruple room and I was charged for four people, so I couldn't make a reservation for three and ended up losing money for one person. The hotel's public bath was small and only big enough for 3-4 people, which was a bit of a concern, but otherwise it was comfortable. The buffet-style meals were also delicious and nice."
Kiraku
"The hotel is located a bit out of the way, and getting around by public transport can be difficult without a car. The hotel facilities are clearly a bit dated, but well-maintained. It has its own private onsen (hot spring bath), and both breakfast and dinner are exquisite, especially dinner, which is served in the room – a very unique experience. There's a small shrine right next to the hotel. Walking over to the observation deck, you can see a beautiful sunset – absolutely mesmerizing!"
Hotel New Katsura
"A pretty nice traditional hotel. You can tell it has some history, but the facilities have been well renovated. The view is great, and the service is excellent. The Wi-Fi coverage is rather poor."
Senkakuso
"Thank you very much for the fresh and too delicious dishes, the personality of the landlady. I ordered a cooking grade up course. A special sauce of abalone steak, crab with soft shells and delicious miso because it is fresh, and turban shells are thick. Other dishes are too delicious and I'm fascinated now. And the personality of the landlady. My husband was sick in the morning, but he really kindly supported me. I was able to return to Tokyo safely by looking for a cane instead. I also want to go to stay for dinner."
Kohan No Yado Yoshidaya
"Convenient location, near the pier, with a large parking lot The receptionist is polite and provides good service, taking you to your room Japanese-style room, spacious, clean, bathroom and shower are separated, there is a work area, you can sit and enjoy the view There are 2 hot springs, 1st floor and rooftop, in the evening there are almost none, you can use the service, book with breakfast and dinner, the food is very delicious Very good value, I recommend this hotel"
