"Went as part of a ski group. Rooms are very basic and small, the check-in and check-out is contactless, you open the door with your phone. Right next to two gondolas. Staff were absolutely fantastic, the most pleasant group of people I've ever met at a hotel!"

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay in February half term. Children were made really welcome, colouring at dinner, mini dressing gowns and slippers, little teddies on the bed. We stayed in the Attica suite, was very spacious and really worked with the kids. Afternoon tea, complimentary selection for cakes was great. Dinner in the evening was extremely high standard and really enjoyed the live pianist too. Ski shuttles were always free and very minimal wait. Only improvement would be breakfast buffet was in a small space and could be spread out a bit across the restaurant so felt unnecessarily cramped / crowded. Also not sure why extra charge for certain eggs, given the room rates, normally this is complimentary. Thank you for a fabulous experience."

"Disclaimer: I didn’t actually stay here, yet. I wandered in while lost in Saas-Fee village, and lured by the smell. The manager did not just solve my problems, she made staying here in the future irresistible. Just look at the backyard view (or maybe your window view). The place is now officially on my to-do list. At CHF 140/night in mid-season, it’s pretty reasonable, by Swiss standards. Flagging this place to remind myself for next time."

"Just fantastic in every way. The hotel is beautifully appointed, luxurious but not overdone, with a wonderful alpine feel. The rooms were very nice, quiet, and plenty of space. The standout feature though was the staff. Everyone from the restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, spa, driver, and many others could not be nicer, more helpful, called me by name, and made me feel completely welcome. The highest compliment I can pay is that I’d go out of my way to stay here again."

"What a wonderful discovery! The hotel is tastefully renovated, the rooms are beautiful, as are the bathrooms. My room had a balcony, was very quiet, and a very comfortable size. The breakfast room (which also serves as a restaurant in the evening) is magnificent with spectacular views of the gorge and the mountains. Everything is done with style. The staff is incredibly attentive. A real pleasure. And as mentioned earlier, the hotel is just 5 minutes from the Alpine Express departure point. The only drawback, but not insurmountable, is that there is no elevator to reach the rooms."

"The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. The hotel is absolutely serious about wanting you to contact them before you arrive to confirm your arrival time although the email they sent to me had no return email address. The bed (although not the pillows) was comfortable and the hot water and wifi both worked well. In-room safe was not large enough for a computer. In contrast to many smaller Swiss hotels, there's scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. My room had a great view of the mountains. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. In contrast to some Saas-Fee hotels, my Saastal card was already printed when I checked-in. If you leave luggage, it is left in the bar area so there's no real security for it."
