"Upon arrival the entrance lobby is clean and well presented, and the reception staff were great. We had booked 2 rooms but they put us in a family room but we weren't happy with this and changed the following day. The room I stayed in was clean enough but the shower didn't work, the rainwater head just sprayed water out of the top and should been a simple replacement, the other head kept slidding down the rail. We did report this and the handyman did try to fix but failed miserably, he did say he would be back the following day. He wasn't so I ended up using some braid to tie it up and it still wasnt fixed by the time I left. The other room had wall sockets dangling out of the wall and very dangerous, there fix was to just push it back in but would fall out if touched. Poor maintenance. Outside around the pool area looks tired and dirty and in need of a good scrub especially the floor tiles. The chill out area was dangerous at times as it had raised tiles but many don't sit properly so when you stand on a tile some llifted up. The older gentleman on the pool bar was also very rude. Food was ok and just ok, some might find it difficult to find something to eat and also seems to be a free for all but that just rude people in general not wanting to queue. Although a cheap holiday in sun and hotel nicely situated it's not a 4* hotel. And parking is non existent so don't bother with a hire car."

"We booked this as a last minute holiday and was overall very happy with our stay. The location was great, just a short walk to both S’Illot & Sa Coma, and located directly on the beach front. Our room was modern and had a great view of the beach front. The only downfall to the room was the bathroom which was a little bit dated. The pool area was nice, and we never struggled for a sunbed and there are plenty of umbrellas. The only problem we thought was you could sit the sunbeds up it was just flat, I would suggest taking a blow up pillow for the pool to make it more comfortable. The drinks were great, there was a choice of cocktails on the all inclusive and we thought all of them were lovely! The bar staff were very friendly. I am a fussy eater so I did struggle with the food some days as it was mainly fish and not always a great variety of food. If you are looking for lots of entertainment/animation it might not be the best choice. There was just water polo at 4, and a mini disco in the evenings. Occasionally there was a band on after and a parrot show once. We would return in future!"

"We did check-in at 9pm and it was very smooth and straightforward, check-out was the same. The rooms were so clean and had everything we needed, lots of space for my two year old. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing at first but once we got a feel it was easy to navigate. The staff were so so lovely and easy going, even if they didn’t understand what we were saying, they would go the extra mile to make us comfortable and happy. A few of us had forgotten to bring our EU adapters but the hotel kindly provided them when we asked. We were all inclusive and the food variety was decent, and there was a snack bar in the evenings with was kind of the same thing every night. The hotel was only a 15 min walk from Sa Coma beach and the shops were close as well. The entertainment was good there were different things to do everyday, however I do feel that the kids club excluded younger children a bit but it wasn’t a major issue as they made up for it by holding events in the theatre which all kids could get involved with. Overall this experience was very positive, and I would happily return again."

"Travelled with my husband and 2 kids aged 12 and 9. We arrived at 11am and check in was quick and friendly. Room in Rosa block was spotless. Only issue was no tea /coffee making facilities in the room which wasnt a big deal. Shower is lovely , beds were comfy and room was 100%. Pool We always got beds ,we had no hassle at all. Main pool was busier than splash park. Lifeguards always very vigilant. Very friendly and helpful and enjoyed joking with families. Splash park is great fun and again, lifeguards had great interactions. My little girl was injured on a slide and they were fantastic with her. Food and Drinks Plenty of food throughout the day. Breakfast had a huge selection of good quality freshly made food. Lunch and dinner are pretty similar so it does get repetitive but there was always something decent. Branded fizzy drinks eveeywhere and water stations. Beer and wine taps also. Entertainment The team work so hard and are great at their jobs. They never stop! We had geeat fun with them. The bus is always on time for the beach and the driver is lovely. My only complaint is that a lot of the stuff is not included as all inclusive. The ice creams are about 4euro each. Cocktails are 7 -8 euro each. All of the stuff in the pool house are extra ( ice pops and treats) the evening bouncy castles and trampolines etc are extra costs aswell. In past all inclusive resorts ive stayed in, they would have ice cream, crepes etc included in the package. Overall it is a lovely well run hotel with great staff and i would absolutely recommend to families."

"Superb family holiday in this excellent location. Amazing pool areas - our grandchildren had the best holiday celebrating Grandads 70th birthday - we’ve made the best memories ever. Local beach was excellent- only negative is the cost of 2 sunbeds and a parasol at 37 euros, an absolute rip off - but this is not the hotels fault!! Our rooms were large, very clean & comfy with great views over the pool - the hotel also put our group of 11 family members in 4 rooms next to each other, which I really appreciated. The buffet food was extremely good- lots of choice and variety every night - our little ones have never eaten so many chocolate pancakes and churros, they were in chocolate heaven 🤣🤣 My only criticism is the lack of free water! I do feel there should be a free water station at the evening meal - it’s just a basic commodity & just a bit greedy to ask people to pay. I know that you received one glass of free water, but a help yourself water station would be much nicer and easier for guests. But that aside, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel- it really was the most wonderful holiday - thank you to all the staff - you do a terrific job 🙏🙏🙏"

"We have just returned from one week at Gran Playa and cannot understand some of the negative comments on here. We were in a junior suite which was excellent. The cleaner was in everyday and if you left your towels in the shower these were changed daily. All of the public spaces in the hotel were kept clean also. We thought that the food was very good with a good choice everyday. Always a really nice soup, loads of different salads and plenty of hot dishes to choose from. Desserts were also good with an ice cream machine. The all inclusive drinks were excellent . We thought the euro charge for the cup was a really good idea as there were no glasses left lying about the pool and bar area. Staff were friendly and the entertainment team tried to get everyone involved. We really enjoyed our week here and would definitely return."

"We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The food was amazing with plenty of variety, and we genuinely couldn’t fault it. The staff all worked incredibly hard and made a real effort to ensure everyone had a great experience. There was so much to do for children aged 9–13, which kept them entertained throughout the holiday. The poolside was brilliant with great music playing during the day, creating a really enjoyable vibe. The rooms were a great size too, so we never felt cramped or like we were living on top of each other. The only reason I’m giving 9/10 instead of 10/10 is the air conditioning. It wouldn’t go below 21°C, and with daytime temperatures reaching around 37°C, the rooms became quite uncomfortable, especially at night. If the air conditioning was improved, this hotel would easily be a 10/10. Overall, it was an amazing holiday, and we’d happily return"

"Went as a group family/friends 2.8-9.8 2025 we arrieved late in night and spotted issues with room (1st floor). We had black mold in bathroom, unstable door handle, lamp in bad condition and used furniture. The other group had room on the floor 6 in better condition. So in the morning they scraped off the mold, fixed handle and taked the lamp off out room. Overall the stuff was friendly and nice exepct one receptionist. The area of the hotel is really nice as beaches, shops and restaurants are near. ✅pros: Nice beach Overall friendly stuff Nice adults only zone with ocean view Football pitch in the middle of the hotel ❌cons: Seen the cockroach 3-4 times (lobby&restaurant on the floor) Cleannes is not the best, its not a horror too but surely besides my expectations. Food was okay, if you stayed longer than 7days it will probbably get repetetive. Bit louder in the evening, music turns off at 23:00, i was fine with it"

"Here’s a polished review that keeps your natural, honest style: We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. This was a last-minute holiday, and we had never visited Sa Coma before. We arrived late in the evening, but the pool was beautifully lit up and made a great first impression. We also had a lovely surprise waiting in our room – a note and some treats to celebrate our anniversary, which was a really thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, we couldn’t fault the cleanliness of either the room or the hotel. This is a 3-star hotel, so we weren’t expecting luxury. The room was a little dated, but the shower was powerful, we always had hot water, and the housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The food wasn’t always to our taste, but we weren’t in England, so we didn’t expect English food. There was plenty of choice at every meal, and we certainly never went hungry. The only downside for us was that water wasn’t included in the all-inclusive package. Unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks were available, but bottled water had to be purchased from a vending machine for €3 per bottle. This could be difficult for families with children, as the only free alternatives were fizzy drinks or watered-down juice from a machine. The entertainment team were fantastic and worked incredibly hard. Most of the evening entertainment was focused on children, so there wasn’t much aimed at adults, but this may suit families perfectly. Overall, we had a great holiday and would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our first anniversary special."

"Well situated for buses in any direction and the food is fresh and plentiful. I booked all inclusive for the first time in Mallorca but only because there was a deal and it was cheaper than half board. No way I could manage 3 meals a day at the hotel and there are cafes and bars everywhere. Entertainment most nights in the hotel and the concierge/reception desk speak various languages well. So do the dining room staff. I wouldn't say the swimming pool would amuse kids older than 7 or 8 but it's adequate for adults and younger kids. Plenty of sunbeds and the animation team doesn't get all up in your face if you want to be left alone but there's a few activities throughout the day if you want to join in. Very quiet, very pleasant, I'd definitely consider booking again if the price was right. I hired a scooter through the front desk and they let me charge it in the lobby without a fuss. Can't take scooters upstairs though."

"We stayed for 10 nights in July. It is clean and well maintained, however lacking basic things like no bottled water in the room on arrival, no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom make it a 3 star. The buffet was very, very repetitive and the food was usually lukewarm warm. Once we discovered the microwave, we collected our food and put it in there to get it hot. Booking the speciality restaurants was hard work. They guarantee one booking at one of the restaurants per stay, advised to book on arrival. The soonest we could get a table at the Italian was 6 days after arrival. If you then want to book one of the others, you have to try at 2pm every day, when they release any available tables, along with everyone else at all of the Protur Sa Coma hotels to try and book for that day. The chance of a booking is virtually nil during peak season. It doesn’t matter whether you have booked a stay for 3 days or 3 weeks, you still only get one guaranteed booking. The majority of other hotels tend to say one booking for 1 to 7 nights, 2 for 8 to 14 nights etc. The food we had at the Italian was good (and hot) which was a welcome change from the buffet. We also booked a table at Bari, the Italian on site at the Badia Park. The food was served buffet style and was again cold, very underwhelming. We spent most days at the kids splash pool as we had our 2 year old Granddaughter with us. It was generally not too busy. The main pool was very busy, with music, games etc and sunbeds were crammed in everywhere. Pool towels are provided an arrival but can only be exchanged once every 3 days by taking them back to reception. They check your room number and when the towels were provided, if it hasn’t been 3 days, they will not exchange them. Soft drinks are self-service and always in paper cups, which is fine for daytime around the pool (for safety) but to expect adults to drink out of paper cups in the evening just because they don’t want an alcoholic drink it crazy. We were all sick of paper cups by the end of the holiday. All in all, we would not return here, there are too many things which are sub-standard for 4 star hotel."
