"We stayed here in July as a group of three girls on a self-catering holiday, and we had such an amazing time. The atmosphere was friendly and inclusive, and we never felt left out. We decided to upgrade to all-inclusive for one day, and it was absolutely worth it for the price! The food was delicious, there was a great variety to choose from, and the drinks were fantastic—especially the strawberry daiquiris, which quickly became our favourite. The entertainment team really made our holiday. They were so friendly, full of energy, and always made an effort to include us in the activities. A special mention has to go to Fran, who was incredible. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he made every activity so much fun. He even listened when I suggested playing volleyball in the pool and made it happen for us. It was such a hit that he organised it again on our last day, which was the perfect way to end our holiday. Thank you to everyone for making our trip so memorable. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming holiday."

"This hotel is in a great location a very short walk from the beach. The rooms are spotless, roomy and well equipped. The food in both the pool bar and the restaurant was simply fantastic. The only thing that topped the food was the staff, from the reception, the cleaner, bar staff to the waiters, they were all friendly and super efficient."

"Second time staying at this hotel and I would definitely book again. The hotel is perfect for families as the selection of pools and slides will keep them entertained all day. The lifeguards are strict with the height restrictions, but rightly so. We had originally booked 2 separate rooms to accommodate our family, but on arrival the 2 separate rooms were in two different blocks, so they kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was basic but clean, bed linen changed daily, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and new towels every day. The air con worked perfectly. The restaurants serve a huge variety of food, and I am not sure how people can complain about it! The food was always hot and fresh, nothing was under cooked or all the staff were friendly and helpful. The bus down to the beach is brilliant, the bus driver is such fun and always happy. It does get quite busy at times, but it's only a short bus trip. The walk down to the beach is enjoyable and we got the horse and carriage ride back a couple of times which was fun! Not sure how people are giving such bad reviews because it's been the perfect holiday for us twice with children."

"We had a wonderful stay at Protur Safari Park Aparthotel. The hotel was excellent in every way, great food, comfortable accommodation, nice atmosphere and everything was very well organized. What made our holiday especially special was the animation team, especially Adriana. We already knew her from last year and were so happy to see her again. She is incredibly kind, friendly and attentive, especially with children in the kids club. You can really see that she cares and that children enjoy spending time with her. We also loved the aquagym and the minidisco, both were so much fun, and honestly, without Adriana it would not have been the same. She brings such positive energy and creates a great atmosphere for both children and adults. Thank you for a beautiful holiday. We were very satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!"

"We recently stayed for a week as a family. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, can’t complain. We did all inclusive one of the days which was good. The grounds and hotel itself it’s nice and clean. The pools games the children loved. We stayed for he entertainment one evening which was enjoyable. Staff all helpful and friendly. The only issue I had was on check out, I asked to use a shower prior to our flight home, which was on the evening. I was told we can use the spa facilities. We headed down and the whole place was absolutely wet through, there were not one single room dry to enable us to get dressed, also no towels (which I would have thought was a given) it was also absolutely red hot down there. Just generally very uncomfortable. I think maybe offering a room would be better, which is what we have been provided in other hotels."

"The apartment was clean but a little dated, however it was very clean and tidy. The pool was a little concerning as the only entry ladders were in the deep end of the pool. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. My opinion is that it needs some investment and some modernisation. However if you just want a place to lay your head and are not fussed about the amenities, it’s a great option."

"The hotel is situated in an ideal area and that's the only thing I can't complain about. I couldn't get a ground floor room as requested because of walking disability. The food wasn't good and always cold. Tea drinkers should take teabags. None in the restaurant. The rooms are basic and needed a good clean. The door to veranda wouldn't lock. Shower leaked and flooded the floor every time we used it. Fridge didn't work. Kettle was cracked and button broken and not replaced until we complained twice. Staff were not pleasant at all especially in the dining area. Bar staff need a course on manners too. Only local alcohol on all inclusive and had to pay for everything else. No all inclusive after 11 either. Had to ask the entertainment team if they could talk English as we couldn't understand what was going on. Only a handful of British in the hotel but should still have had English speaking entertainers. Only 3 of them so not much I can say except they had to work hard. Roof top solarium was supposed to be adult only but always children up in it. Certainly wouldn't be booking again."

"Most of the hotel facilities are in need of proper attention and upkeep. The staff were generally friendly, with special mention to the animation team who worked very hard and were great with guests. However, communication was a real challenge – it was surprising that very few staff members, including the manager, spoke adequate English. Our first night in the apartment was a nightmare. We found cockroaches not only outside but also inside the room, even crawling above us. When we complained, the response was that this was “natural” and caused by us leaving a door open, which was not the case and felt very dismissive. Thankfully, the following day we were moved to a much better room on the first floor, which made a big difference. On the positive side, the food was good with a nice variety, and the location was quite convenient. However, the price felt a bit salty for the level of service and standards provided. Overall, the stay had its highlights, but some of the hotel facilities and management approach need serious improvement."

"We have returned from a 4 day break for a birthday celebration, 3 adults and 5 year old. The hotel is very clean and spacious with everything we needed, we had a kitchenette area staying in a one bed apartment. staff are not only friendly but incredibly helpful and kind. The pools are super for children and adults. The location is good with the beach a 5 minute walk and plenty of restaurants and shops on the door step. We stayed B&B breakfast was great. "I visited Protur Badia Aparthotel at the start of October and stayed for a week. We arrived around 13:00 and our room was ready. The room was clean, had air conditioning and was a good size. It had a fridge, microwave and a safety box, it didn't have a kettle, which us British people do like, but it really wasn't a problem. The hotel was great, we always found somewhere to sit for our meals and evening entertainment. The food and drinks provided were good/OK. For the evening meals they always had a themed dinner and then a standard dinner, which changed everyday. Personally I thought the food was ok (my husband thought it was amazing) but I thought it was a bit bland and predictable, none of the dishes blew my taste buds, but I understand that we weren't eating at a Michelin star restaurant. There were cold drink and coffee machines, where you could get a drink throughout the day. The pool was a great size with lots of sunbeds, there are signs which stated that no one could use the sunbeds till 09:00 and we never had a problem. There is the main pool, baby pool and mini kids splash pool at the hotel, but you also have access to a bigger splash pool which I would recommend. My only negative comment would be that the pools, including the children's and splash pools, were really cold. I only swam in the hotel pool once due to this. Our son who is 1.5 years old didn't like pools and he would only walk up to his ankles ! We went to the beach which is a 5 minute walk and I found the sea water warmer than the pools. This isn't a negative comment, just feedback. We knew before we arrived, that the hotel is primarily catered for German guests. This didn't affect our holiday at all, the children's disco which lasts 30 minutes isn't done in English, but we couldn't care less and neither could our son as he was busy dancing. Also the entertainment stopped at 10. The only reason why I wouldn't stay again, would be the cold pools, other than that good hotel, amazing staff and ok food."
