"Service was faultless, everything asked for it was no trouble at all to help. Unfortunately the swimming pool was alittle cold and the door handles on the saunas were rotten and rusty. There were marks on the carpet in the bedoorm which I felt could be cleaned out with a washer Hoover and u see the bed clearly someone had pulled the underside down which made it look tatty as it was frayed. The mastic in the bathroom is moldy and the toilet could be situated better I. The bathroom. The breakfast was amazing and plenty of it considering two weddings were happening this weekend. My partner fell over in the car park and grazed her hands and knees, first aid box didn’t have sterile solution or plasters or wipes in there. But staff tried to help, but I am a qualified first aider."

"I booked through trip.com paid through the app, but upon arrival I was told my payment wasn’t showing on there system. After showing them proof of payment I was told I have to pay again to secure my booking.. so now I’ve paid double the booking fee"

"I stayed in this hotel in April 2024, and on my arrival home I found that I had a parking ticket for having parked my car in their car park. When I checked in I gave the receptionist my car registration number, and therefore I expected that they would then be registering my car, because otherwise why would they have asked for the reg number? I simply believed that like most hotels the staff have a console on their side of the desk that they then type the number in to. It would appear that this is not the case! When I phoned up to state I had a ticket all I got told was that there is a big sign and an ipad that I should have put my details into. The staff clearly know this but don't physically tell their guests to ensure that they have understood that the onus is completely up on them, and they take your reg number for a reason that has nothing to do with booking you into the car park. I have tried to email them to say that it is their fault and I should not be paying anything, but have received no follow up. I have then called them, and have been told that a large number of guests have been in contact to say that they too have had fines, therefore I am not the only one, which indicates that this hotel is knowingly not taking care of their guests interests appropriately. To top it all off, the hotel can get the ticket cancelled, however you have to pay £30. So when faced with the choice of a £100 fine, reduced to £60 if you pay in 14 days, or paying the hotel £30 so that they can cancel the ticket, there is little choice. Stay clear of this hotel, or be prepared for a parking fine."
