"I stayed at the Elba Costa Ballena Beach & Thalasso Resort in July with my family and my two young daughters. It is a four-star hotel located in a very quiet residential area surrounded by greenery and golf courses, not far from the beach. The room was spacious and clean, making it suitable for a family with children. However, the furnishings—both in the rooms and in the hotel’s common areas—look rather dated and, in my opinion, would benefit from renovation to fully live up to the hotel’s category. One of the hotel’s strengths is definitely the food: it is good and, above all, very varied, with a wide range of options to suit different tastes. During breakfast, however, there can sometimes be queues, and the coffee machine often runs out, which can be inconvenient. I would also like to mention the hotel parking fee, which is €15 per day. About 50 metres away, there is another car park where it is possible to pay just over €8 during the day via an app, making it a more convenient option when spaces are available. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming, helping to make our stay enjoyable. Overall, the hotel is a good choice for a relaxing family holiday, particularly thanks to its peaceful location, spacious rooms and varied food. However, the furnishings would benefit from an update, and breakfast service could be better organised during the busiest periods."

"Good afternoon! I'm writing to explain what happened today. We booked two rooms and an apartment through the same company. An emergency operation was required for the person who rented the apartment. This person is the sister of someone staying in one of the rooms at this hostel (Boutique La Española in Rota) and the daughter of the guests in the other room. We sent reports documenting the situation, but they refused to issue a refund, keeping the full amount. I find it extremely unacceptable that they would consider the need for close relatives to have a vacation given the circumstances and refuse to take responsibility for something so urgent. I hope my comment will make others think twice before booking this place."

"We came for 7 days all inclusive and I could not recommend this hotel enough its not like many Spanish hotels and caters more for spanish speaking guests but this also means its much more authentic, the resort is well manicured and laid out great with pools for all ages and beautiful beach on its door step the food is amazing with an lots of options including an a la carte restaurant availability and some beautiful restaurant surrounding the hotel the staff are extremely friendly and if you make the effort to speak Spanish are patient and accommodatiing they made all effort to make our holiday perfect we unfortunately had a hospital trip on the last day and the hotel and Jet 2 kept in constant contact checking up on my little girls and went the extra mile to help us and se had an extra day whilst waiting for flights AXA insurance arranged everything to help and made a bad situation so easy and the hotel again stepped on and helped us have a due over of our last night so we where comfortable and stress free 6 days of heaven and then disaster but right back to heaven as if to say your not going home stressed were sending you home relaxed and happy we will be back and can honesty say this place is grate for families and at a greate price you get vip all the way"
