Guest UserI specifically chose to travel in May, avoiding public holidays, and the experience was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the observation deck, and the scenic shuttle bus stop is very close by. I didn't have to drag my luggage for a long distance, which was a relief since I initially read guides saying it would be exhausting carrying bags. Here, you don't have to worry about that at all.
The owner was incredibly welcoming and even came to pick me up personally. They also provided tips on how to explore the area. The room offered a spectacular view; opening the window revealed the entire Miao village. The room was clean and tidy. Being on the mountaintop, it was also quiet, allowing me to sleep in until I naturally woke up. During the day, the shuttle bus was nearby, making it easy to head down the mountain for sightseeing and photos. As night fell, I enjoyed a local specialty drink, accompanied by the beautiful nightscape of the Miao village. Such leisurely and comfortable moments were truly enchanting.

Guest UserThe guy at the front desk was attentive and enthusiastic. The hotel facilities are complete and the rooms are spacious. You can see the sunrise while lying in the bathtub. October is the most beautiful time for the terraced fields. It is great value.

Guest UserXijiang Surprise Mid-Mountain View B&B was a wonderful surprise! The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, and the stilt-house design creates such an authentic atmosphere. The panoramic windows in the rooms offer incredible views; you can lie in bed and overlook the entire Miao village. In the evening, the sight of countless lights illuminating the village is breathtaking, and you don't even need to fight the crowds at the scenic viewpoints. What really stood out was the thoughtful hostess. She contacted us in advance to help with our itinerary, assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, and thoroughly explained the local attractions. She even proactively upgraded us to a room with an even better view, free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the communal terrace was perfect for photos. The service was gentle and attentive. With both amazing views and excellent service, staying here in Xijiang was absolutely a fantastic choice!

Guest UserEverything about this place, from the facilities to the ambiance, is fantastic. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The landlady even makes fresh breakfast every morning, and it was different each of the two days we stayed! They offer luggage transfer service, and the location is unbeatable. It's just a ten-minute walk uphill from the hotel to a viewing platform, though the view from the balcony is almost as good. The pictures I've included were taken at different times of day over my two-day stay, and the views are truly spectacular! The No. 4 Wind-and-Rain Bridge, located right below the hotel, is a quick walk to Xiaobeimen, and I ate at the KFC across the street twice. I couldn't finish an entire sour fish hotpot by myself, though, haha 😄.
If I come back with my family next time, I'd definitely choose this place again. ⊹꙳ ˶˙ᵕ˙˶ ⊹꙳

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located halfway up the mountain, near Bridge No. 1. It was raining continuously on the day we visited, and the shuttle service from Changxiao Station to Bridge No. 1 was suspended after 10:30 AM due to the holiday. The hotel sent someone to pick us up at Bridge No. 1, and the staff member was really great, helping us carry our luggage all the way up – it was quite a climb! The service was excellent.
We couldn't find our way from the hotel to the art museum, so the same staff member helped guide us there. Afterwards, he even carried our luggage back to Bridge No. 1 and helped us arrange its transfer, which gave us more time to explore. We were able to pick up our luggage seamlessly at the West Gate later on.
And the views are amazing too!

Since the hotel is located within the Miao Village, the facilities are quite old, so the experience wasn't great. We booked a twin room, but it didn't have a large window, only a tiny one like an attic window, which was too high for a tall person to look out of comfortably. Because the environment wasn't very good, I wasn't in the mood to take photos. The good thing is that this hotel is on an inner street, not the main street, so it's relatively quiet.

Guest UserFive stars, highly recommended!
Choosing YunTing Luxury when visiting Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was an absolute win! The location is superb, right next to the observation deck, just a few minutes' walk. Their private observation deck offers even better views than the public one; opening the window reveals a panoramic view of the Miao village, and the evening lights are breathtaking.
The rooms are designed in the traditional Miao stilt-house style, with wooden floors and ethnic-inspired soft furnishings. They are clean and have a quality feel. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent, making for a super quiet evening. Each room has a panoramic balcony, allowing you to enjoy the morning mist, sea of clouds, and sunset without even leaving your room – every photo you take will be stunning 📸.
And the service is incredibly thoughtful! The butler contacted me in advance to arrange pick-up and proactively helped with my luggage, being warm and attentive throughout my stay. The minced pork noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious, showing great attention to detail.
Whether it's for enjoying the night view, taking beautiful photos, or experiencing Miao culture, this place is flawless. It offers incredible value for money and is a must-stay when visiting Xijiang! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose it again next time!
