While the rooms are a little dated, they were warm, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, served hot, and offered a great selection—even our fussy son found something to enjoy! We would be more than happy to stay here again."

"The Travelodge at Beckington is a very comfortable, reasonably priced, clean basic hotel. Good sized bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Easily accessible with free parking and easy driving distance for Bath, Frome and other north Somerset attractions. The staff are polite and extremely helpful."

Limited spaces and no availability to park meant having to park at a car park further down and paying £26! The hotel itself is lovely and would definitely recommend."

"Our stay at this hotel left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. While I wouldn't go so far as to say avoid it entirely, I can't recommend it or see myself returning. The room, advertised as having a king-size bed, disappointingly turned out to be a double. Despite the hotel's emphasis on green choices, the room was unbearably warm upon arrival. We had to open both the windows and the door just to cool it down. This lack of basic comfort seemed counterintuitive to their eco-conscious branding. Furthermore, small but crucial amenities were absent, such as a hairdryer, and some lights weren't working. The absence of an in-room phone meant there was no easy way to request these missing items, adding to the overall inconvenience. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The so-called buffet consisted of a small, albeit pleasant, continental breakfast. However, being asked immediately upon arrival if we'd like to pay an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast made the setup feel misleading. At £14.50, the continental breakfast alone did not feel like good value.  The restaurant also had a notice about a £2.50 charge for menu amendments. While I understand the principle of upcharges, this particular policy felt excessive and off-putting. These issues were compounded by a lack of personal touches that form the foundation of good customer service. No one asked at checkout or during breakfast how our stay had been, a small but impactful gesture that could have mitigated some of our disappointments. In hindsight, I feel I overpaid by about 20-30% compared to the value I received. Knowing what I do now, I likely wouldn't have chosen this hotel for our stay."
