"Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all.
Some things to keep in mind:
- the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night;
- the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference;
- there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁
- you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path."

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. "DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! The details provided in the description are very misleading. There is no reference to the fact that the bedrooms are swamped by club music and base thumping between 20:00pm and 2:30am every day. So severe is the noise pollution that rooms are provided with complementary earbuds. However, you can still hear the music and thumping noise with those in.
The main purpose of a hotel is to provide a comfortable place to sleep. Given that the rooms are not soundproofed, I found it impossible to sleep until the early hours of the morning for the three nights I stayed at this establishment.
Having raised a complaint with the manager, I was moved, for the last night, to a bungalow, which is supposed to have less noise pollution. That is true, but the music and thumping are still to be heard, and kept me awake until around 2:30am.
Whilst the source of the nuisance is not the hotel, what has frustrated me the most is that the disturbance - which is clearly a regular occurrence - was not disclosed in the marketing. Of course, by doing so they would most certainly put customers like me off, but at least the hotel would have been honest, and set fair expectations.
I would never stay at this hotel again, and recommend that you all avoid it!"

"First, the pros:
– Convenient location – close to the ferry.
– Friendly staff: they helped carry our luggage and allowed us to check in early.
Now, the cons:
– The hotel is clearly in need of renovation.
– We were given a windowless room, despite windows being shown in the photos. It was very difficult to be in the room without natural light.
– The air conditioning didn't work properly: it blew hot then cold air intermittently.
– The bed was uncomfortable.
– The spoons in the room were so old and tarnished that they were unpleasant to use – we didn't even bother making coffee.
– The toilet seat was yellowed with age.
We're not picky people, but unfortunately, we were disappointed this time."

"This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here."

"Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way.
We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down.
The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price.
Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service."

"Upon arriving to Tonsai pier on Phi Phi Island I was afraid of an overcrowded beach packed tourist spot, we secured a longtail straight away and were taken to Saii resort about a 30 min boat ride. It does take some effort or time I should say to get there from Krabi, Koh Lanta, or Phuket but very worth it. We came from Koh Lanta on a ferry. 1.5 hours and then longtail to resort .5 hours. We were welcomed in the beautiful open air surroundings, check in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful and even made arrangements for our departure from the island to the airport in Krabi for days later. The resort is clean a beautiful. We had a Sea View Villa which was fabulous, clean, newly remodeled, and large. Huge front porch to sit on steps from the beach or pool. It was very adult, a quiet easy family or couple environment. Lot's of sitting areas, a seating area at night to listen to a local band. Food at the resort was good but as expected somewhat expensive, food and village out in town was quaint nice and much cheaper. We enjoyed a bit of both. The views, pristine water, serene environment, clean rooms, wonderful staff....spent three days at Saii, and I would go back again. Pics on the website were pretty accurate. If you going to go, which you should, stay for a few several days. It's worth it."

The hotel is located away from the busy, crowded areas of the island, and the views are truly stunning. Waking up to the sea and enjoying the peaceful surroundings is definitely the highlight of staying here.
However, there are several aspects that take away from what could have been a much better experience.
• The staff is noticeably unfriendly, which feels unusual for Thailand. The atmosphere lacks the warmth and hospitality the country is known for, possibly because most of the team is not Thai.
• Cleanliness could be significantly improved. The restaurant area, parts of the resort, and even the beach did not feel as well maintained as they should be.
• The beach directly in front of the hotel tends to get crowded, with many sunbeds occupied by towels for hours without being used.
• The food is average overall, and the breakfast in particular is quite bland and uninspiring.
That said, the sea itself is beautiful and almost makes up for the shortcomings (swimming surrounded by fishes is amazing). It’s worth staying for a couple of days to enjoy the view and the water. You can also head to the nearby, more secluded stretch of Loh Moo Dee for a quieter and more pleasant beach experience."

"We stayed for one night in a standard bungalow, not on the beachfront. The bungalows aren't brand new, but they are clean, odor-free, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The water heats up well. The staff are attentive and happy to help with anything. The bungalows have two single beds, 1.2 meters wide. The breakfast selection is quite varied and tasty. Water taxis to Tonsai Beach are available anytime for 100 baht per person (minimum two people), and 150 baht in the evening and at night. Boat transfers to/from the hotel to Tonsai Pier are provided. You can also arrange with a boatman to go to any other beach. The hotel also has rooms in a two-story building, with ground-floor rooms having their own private exit. All windows are panoramic with a partial sea view. We were very satisfied with our stay."
