"Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all.
Some things to keep in mind:
- the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night;
- the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference;
- there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁
- you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path."

"This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island. It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about. The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need. The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well. The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees. The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers. Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh. The bakery section in particular is excellent. The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach. Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am. They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant. Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested! With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect. We will be back i am sure"

"I want to express my immense gratitude to the hotel team and owners for making our vacation truly unforgettable! This was probably the best vacation of my life.
Everything was absolutely perfect! I'd like to start with the grounds – words simply cannot describe how beautiful it is, and how harmoniously it blends into the island's wild nature. The bungalows themselves are very functional and beautiful, with a garden-facing terrace – waking up and having morning coffee there felt magical.
The staff are incredibly responsive and genuinely kind. The breakfasts are excellent – hearty and delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The pools are simply magnificent, and the sea is crystal clear, with a perfect beach and a very comfortable, shallow entry.
If I were to visit Phi Phi again, I would only stay at this hotel.
A small tip for future guests: there are mosquitoes and gnats on the island (this is the only tiny natural drawback, not a hotel one). In addition to mosquito spray, be sure to buy a special cream for bites at any Thai pharmacy. It was a lifesaver for us (we always get bitten a lot). The cream relieves itching and discomfort within a few seconds of application – it's an absolute must-have for Phi Phi!

"- Super convenient location, few minutes walk to the beach.
- Friendly staff, greeted with smile and helped to carry our luggage all the way from the pier to the hotel. given wet tissue and cold mineral water during check in, and the check in process was super quick!
- Rooms are abit old and noisy during the midnight but it was acceptable.

"My husband had a birthday, and we decided to celebrate it at this place. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, but no kettle. It was quiet in the evenings and at night. During the day, of course, quite a lot of people gather at the beach and block the view 😂. The grounds are magnificent, and the beach is cleaned every morning. We had a first-line villa with a truly stunning view 😍. Breakfast was hearty and varied. We were the first ones at breakfast (7:30) and had the place to ourselves. An excellent place to recharge. I recommend it."

"The breakfast was amazing. The grounds are beautiful with pretty flowers and lots of cute cats, however, finding our room was tough. And the internet didn’t work. As well, the bathroom was not the cleanest. I had to walk to the front counter in a towel and pass a drunk guy who literally wanted to jump my bones, because in order to reach the front you must scan the QR code which is not possible without the internet access. Anyway, the front desk staff were great in going above and beyond to replace the kettle which didn’t work initially. They also hooked us up to the alternate internet that always works on the ground and that I believe the staff use. And the front desk person also got us the dental kit as this doesn’t automatically come with the room or at all. The agent secured us the dental kit that I assumed comes with a 200 + a night room because I asked and to compensate for all the things that were not up to par with the room. The sheets had some rips or rouging from wear and tear I noticed when I got under the covers. Overall, the breakfast the next morning made it all worth it. And yes it is really that good. You get the best Thai dishes, western dishes and more for breakfast unlimited and the chef is top tier. Do what you will with this information. And there were NO roaches or lizards, only a few ants near the kettle that didn’t work lol."

"I scoured through all the hotels on Koh Phi Phi before finally settling on this one. It was quite a journey – during the Chinese New Year, it showed no availability, and I even emailed the hotel to confirm they were fully booked. But then, one day, luck smiled upon me and a room suddenly appeared, which I immediately booked! The hotel isn't right by the pier, which is great as it avoids the noisy bars that go on till late, yet it's still close enough to the pier. It's a mere 10-minute walk for transport, going out for snorkeling, or diving. The hotel also offers its own half-day boat tours, with direct boarding from the beach right in front, which is super convenient and very reasonably priced. The environment is simply stunning – a tranquil and cozy tropical rainforest villa. The pool, breakfast restaurant, and beach are all beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly, and their attention to detail is evident everywhere. Looking at other reviews, besides one overly dramatic negative comment, all others are overwhelmingly positive. The only drawback was that the shower water was a bit cold. It's a shame I only stayed for two nights. You can get a more visual sense from the pictures."

"First, the pros:
– Convenient location – close to the ferry.
– Friendly staff: they helped carry our luggage and allowed us to check in early.
Now, the cons:
– The hotel is clearly in need of renovation.
– We were given a windowless room, despite windows being shown in the photos. It was very difficult to be in the room without natural light.
– The air conditioning didn't work properly: it blew hot then cold air intermittently.
– The bed was uncomfortable.
– The spoons in the room were so old and tarnished that they were unpleasant to use – we didn't even bother making coffee.
– The toilet seat was yellowed with age.
We're not picky people, but unfortunately, we were disappointed this time."

"This hotel is a classic case of stunning views but seriously lacking service and management. There's a complete disconnect between different departments and internal management is a mess. At lunch, the staff were sitting at the best sea-view table with a fan blowing directly on them, while guests had no fan! 😂 After we pointed it out, they turned it towards us. The location and views are definitely the strong points; the room facilities are good, with hillside sea views and a great restaurant view. However, the front desk and management are totally out of sync: senior management said there was a free speedboat shuttle, but the front desk said no. It's clear there's no internal training or communication. The dining issues were even worse: I found a fly in my Tom Yum soup, and they just refunded the money without any apology or explanation. Breakfast also had flies everywhere, and their measures to combat them were completely inadequate. The in-room phone ☎️ wasn't working, so I had to use the hotel app to message them for things like calling a car (due to the hillside location) or extra towels. The responses were a bit problematic and inconsistent."

"Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way.
We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down.
The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price.
Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service."
