Resorts in Phi Phi Islands

"Unfortunately, I have two extremely negative points to share about this hotel: The room advertised on Trip.com and all other online travel sites states it's 36SQM, but the truth is that the actual measured area is only 18SQM. All rooms in the hotel are this size. This extremely small room doesn't even allow for proper luggage storage, except on the bed or piled up on the floor near the entrance door. The space between the two single beds is only 30 centimeters, so imagine trying to move around at night to get to your bed. If I had known the actual size, I would never have booked this room. It's ridiculous and misleading for the hotel to provide such incorrect information to travel sites. The reception told me that the 36SQM includes the balcony and the terrace around the villa. Since when do outdoor spaces count as part of the room size??? And the balcony is only 5 SQM, so even including that, it only comes to 23 SQM in total, still far from the advertised 36SQM. The hotel is clearly lying to falsely attract customers. There's no possible solution on the hotel's website because all rooms are similar. Furthermore, the soundproofing is non-existent. So, you can hear your neighbor's conversations at any time of day or night. You can almost talk from one room to another without raising your voice. It's ridiculous. I could hear the neighbors (children and adults) talking at 11 PM or midnight in their language. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel unless you enjoy 18SQM rooms with no interior mobility and no soundproofing."

"I arrived at Phi Phi by ferry from Phuket, and at the pier, someone was waiting with a sign bearing the hotel's name (he probably meets every ferry, as I didn't specify my arrival time). After a five-minute wait for all the tourists, we took a boat taxi to the hotel. They helped with the suitcases (loading them onto the boat), and the ride was about 5 minutes at most. Transfers to the hotel from the pier and back to the pier upon checkout are free. I received a room upgrade because my original room was occupied, but it was for the best. They gave me a spacious room, though it was at the very top. Getting there required some effort, walking uphill, but it's good to not just relax all the time! This was all compensated for by the amazing view of the pristine Long Beach. There's a steep path down to this beach right behind the building, but everyone uses it. The room was spotless, with 2 bottles of water daily, clean white linens, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a window overlooking the beach, and there was a hammock on the balcony. In the morning, a family of three monkeys visited me, so it's important to keep the doors closed and not leave things on the balcony. The baby monkey played with my swimsuit but must not have liked it, as he left it for me! It was beautiful; thinking back, I want to return. Breakfasts included scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, sausages, vegetables, bread, salad, pastries, fruits, and juices – pretty standard for Thailand, and everything was delicious. On the beach, there's sand, but to the left, there are rocks and corals. I snorkeled there (they provide masks, but I had my own). There were many fish of all sizes; the snorkeling was excellent. You can get to the pier by boat taxi, which costs 150 baht during the day and 250-300 baht after dark (you can haggle for the return trip at the pier). There's a 7/11 at the pier if you need to buy anything. In the evening, there's live music at the hotel restaurant, and on some days, they have fire shows. It's very quiet at the hotel in the evenings."

"Overall, a pretty good hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they offer a car service for transportation. The newly renovated rooms are quite modern. It's inevitable to find bugs on the island, and there were quite a few ant-like insects in the bathroom. Also, dining options are a bit limited, so I recommend trying the local eateries in the nearby village. Getting to the island isn't the most convenient, but it's not as bad as some online reviews suggest. Walking from the hotel's boat to the beach and watching the staff transport luggage with small carts was actually quite an interesting experience."

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. A staff were very good and provided access to snorkeling equipment were happy to help you drive up the steep mountain and even helped with luggage whenever needed (We always walked down, but the walk back up was hard, and were happy for their service). 酒店地理位置绝对令人惊叹，景色令人叹为观止，安静、放松、自然，可以浮潜。他们在酒店吃的食物：有些真的很好，有些不太好。唯一的弱点是，乘船到达那里的物流非常复杂~我找到了一家快速船供应商，可以直接进入度假村，但他们每天只有一艘船，其余的都需要你在在中间停下来换公司。一旦我发现度假胜地的哪些食物更好，我就更频繁地点。如果你等待退潮，你可以沿着海滩走到村庄，避开其他度假胜地，但在涨潮时这是不可能的。工作人员非常好，提供浮潜设备。他们很乐意帮助你开车上山，甚至在需要的时候帮忙拿行李（我们总是走下去，但走回去很难，我们很高兴他们的服务）。"

"My wife chose this newly opened hotel, supposedly the same one as in the Maldives! After experiencing it, I can't stop raving about it! Highly recommend!! Room: The room we stayed in was super spacious. Waking up in the morning and drawing back the curtains revealed a stunning sea view. It was so relaxing just walking out into the yard. Food: We booked three meals a day. During our 2-night stay on the island, we were able to order different dishes for each meal, and they were all truly delicious! Activities: They offer free childcare, so adults can enjoy activities like paddleboarding. You can also pay extra to charter a boat for island hopping. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I really didn't want to leave. If I were to stay again, I'd book at least three days. Watching the sunset and moonrise here is truly breathtaking! 🤩"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

"- Super convenient location, few minutes walk to the beach. - Friendly staff, greeted with smile and helped to carry our luggage all the way from the pier to the hotel. given wet tissue and cold mineral water during check in, and the check in process was super quick! - Rooms are abit old and noisy during the midnight but it was acceptable. - They even helped to decorate for birthday, super grateful & memorable ❤️ good stay with this price, thank you will come back again for short stay!"

"I scoured through all the hotels on Koh Phi Phi before finally settling on this one. It was quite a journey – during the Chinese New Year, it showed no availability, and I even emailed the hotel to confirm they were fully booked. But then, one day, luck smiled upon me and a room suddenly appeared, which I immediately booked! The hotel isn't right by the pier, which is great as it avoids the noisy bars that go on till late, yet it's still close enough to the pier. It's a mere 10-minute walk for transport, going out for snorkeling, or diving. The hotel also offers its own half-day boat tours, with direct boarding from the beach right in front, which is super convenient and very reasonably priced. The environment is simply stunning – a tranquil and cozy tropical rainforest villa. The pool, breakfast restaurant, and beach are all beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly, and their attention to detail is evident everywhere. Looking at other reviews, besides one overly dramatic negative comment, all others are overwhelmingly positive. The only drawback was that the shower water was a bit cold. It's a shame I only stayed for two nights. You can get a more visual sense from the pictures."

"The place was really nice with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and polite, the breakfast had plenty of choices, the pool was clean, and the view was amazing. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m already coming back again next week!💐🥳"

"Phi Phi Island is stunning, beyond words. The hotel boasts a beautiful view. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with the front desk staff's attitude! There was this one skinny Thai girl who had a terrible demeanor. On top of that, one of our rooms experienced power outages repeatedly, 3-4 times. She refused to move us to another room until it had happened 7 or 8 times, and only then did she agree to switch rooms after our strong insistence. And that night, there was a huge downpour; I can't imagine what we would have done if the power had gone out again. Whenever we asked her for bath towels or had any other questions, her attitude was consistently poor! She clearly had a sour face the whole time! On the other hand, the restaurant staff was excellent and very friendly. They even told us where we could go snorkeling, so welcoming! The overall cost was moderate; we had lunch and dinner at the hotel and tried most of the dishes. I wouldn't recommend the burger, but everything else was good! The front desk staff truly made our experience very unpleasant. Additionally, the bedsheets in the room were quite dirty, which made me feel even worse. Thankfully, Phi Phi Island is beautiful; otherwise, I would have truly regretted staying at this hotel. I hope they improve the attitude of their front desk staff! And they should promptly help guests solve problems! And stop with the sour faces! If it weren't for the great restaurant staff, I would honestly give this hotel's front desk service zero stars."
