Choose the Perfect Redding Stay for Your Travel Needs
Motel 6 Redding, CA - North
"Spotless, peaceful, and priced for value. The hotel sits at Redding’s quiet north end—an easy drive to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to feel like a retreat. The retro ‘time-capsule’ shower delivers hot water instantly and works perfectly, and the generous dresser space makes longer stays effortless. The only negative was the slow wifi. I had to use data for my conference call."
Holiday Inn REDDING by IHG
"The room is clean, but it is too close to Highway 5. There is a lot of noise, the bath water is very big👍, and the front desk service attitude is very unfriendly."
Thunderbird Lodge
"The hotel is at a good location but a lot of things are wrong with it. The AC makes so much noise that we stayed up most of the night. The ceiling is so thin that you can hear people walk and talk from the top floor. The breakfast was so basic. No eggs either and the pancake machine broke. So just bread and cereal were the option."
Travelodge by Wyndham Redding CA
"Overall it is good, the waiter is also very enthusiastic, that is, the infrastructure is slightly worse, there is no kettle, this price is not equipped with pure water."
Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge
"Room was dirty by the stay was great"
Quality Inn Redding Near I-5
"Beyond great for its price, good breakfast!"
Red Lion Hotel Redding
"There is no fan in the bathroom. The air conditioner flaps rattle. If you turn the air conditioner on high it crackles as well. The sliding door lock screw thing is worrisome."
Comfort Inn Redding Near I-5
"Normally Comfort Inn is good at everything but this one in particular was just OK. I checked in with my family very late almost 11 PM. The room provided was did not look clean and did not smelled good,. I had tiring drive of 5 hours, so did not wanted to go back to helpdesk an spend another 30 minutes asking another room, also did not wanted to disturb neighbouring stay. I have observed that if you are checkin late room provided is not upto quality and that is the reason I had called the front desk and requested to provide a good room but not much was done. Besides that only one key was provided. Bed did not looked clean. Had a pathetic shower. The only good part was Breakfast which awesome and hot tub was great. Overall an average one but I will avoid this one in future."
Hilton Garden Inn Redding
"The facilities of this hotel are very old. The indoor carpets are seriously stained. I can't sit on the sofa at all for fear of mite allergies. The toilet is also difficult to describe. There are small black bugs seen near the toilet and sink. You need to stand in the old bathtub to take a shower. Medium, very slippery and dangerous; I met a black-haired female staff member at the front desk with a very poor service attitude. When I asked her why I left a message when I made the reservation, hoping to give me a quiet room, but I was assigned a room facing the road. When the noise was very loud, her The attitude was very rude and directly said that you did not write this request so we did not arrange a quiet room. After I took out the order and left a message, it said that because you made the reservation as a third party, we did not receive this message. When I asked if I could change the room. , she said in a very impatient tone that it was already full today. We have nothing to do for you. I still need to serve other guests. Please come back tomorrow to ask if you can change rooms. When I asked what time tomorrow When it was more appropriate, she was very angry and impatient and said that I couldn't guarantee the appropriate time to ask. You have to take time to ask tomorrow. I have already said that I need to serve other customers. In fact, there was only one white guest behind me. He was in front of me, but his problem was not solved and he came back to the front desk. At that time, we looked at each other and he also looked speechless at the front desk's attitude. . And when my husband parked the car, I also observed that they (yes, not just the rude front desk) also arranged at least two Chinese families on the first floor near the elevator. The American guests who came in behind were not like this. treatment. I guess they thought they were all foreigners traveling along Route 51 anyway, and they checked in separately for each other. It was unclear which room the other person was assigned to, and even if they were dissatisfied, there was only a small chance that they would use Google to evaluate their behavior. , so there is nothing to worry about. Strongly recommend everyone to avoid this hotel. Later I moved to the Sheraton Sunqiao Hotel, and it was much better in every aspect. Don't save a little money and let yourself suffer."
Bridge Bay Lodge at Shasta Lake
GuestPlace Inn & Suites
"I've stayed at Red Lion's in the past and was always pleased. This dump is the exception! From the filthy walkways to the homeless and drug users they clientele to, this Inn should be ashamed of themselves. As if that wasn't enough, I accidently left a $500 pair of cowboy boots in the room and didn't notice until I had returned home for a couple weeks. When I called to have the boots returned, I was told they only hold Lost And Found for one week and then throw the items in the trash. NOT LIKELY! It is guaranteed that somebody here is either wearing my boots or sold them on Ebay or Craigslist. Nobody is going to throw a $500 pair of boots into the trash!"
