Hotel Vanha Rauma is a family-owned boutique hotel, that has welcomed and served hotel guests since 2007. We are located at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Old Rauma. The hotel is operating in unique funk building which was built in the 1930’s. Our small, but idyllic hotel lives and breathes strongly in the present moment, but keeping a firm eye on the future at the same time. Hotel Vanha Rauma has 22 unique and cozy rooms, you can choose from Standard-, Business- or Superior-class. Rooms are available with twin or double beds and every room has a TV, mini bar, Wi-Fi and private bathroom. The building’s design is the handywork of a Finnish architect, Paavo Riihimäki and the necessary renovations for a hotel use was designed by architect Markus Bernoulli. The building went through a complete renovation in the late 1980’s. Before its current .name, the hotel has been known by the names of Hotel Kalatori and Kalatori Guesthouse. Restaurant Kalatori was opened at the same premises in 2011. The reputable restaurant is known for serving top-quality dishes that are created using seasonal and fresh ingredients and a variety of classy wines.
