"The hotel deserves a 5 for its location and the grounds. From the lawn you grit a view of the snow capped range. However the rooms on the first floor come with steep stairs (2 flights) and despite heater and blankets are pretty cold. Our room had hot water only from the basin tap ; shower area only had cold water. There is an extensive menu but what's available is mainly chinese and basic indian. Wait staff are eager to please. Stay for the location within pine forests and the view and choose to ignore the rest. Not recommended for mobility challenged unless you have ground floor rooms"

"ONLY COME HERE IF YOU WANNA RUIN YOUR HAPPINESS: • NO INTERNET OR WIFI- Their best room- the cottage has NO WIFI CONNECTION. And don’t even think about Mobile Data, there’s no mobile network in that secluded property!! • STAFF SERVICE IS WORST. If you complain to their “unprofessional” GM Mr SHASHANK SINGH about complaints like no WiFi or no Tandoor (they don’t use tandoor if the NUMBER OF GUESTS IS FEW!!!) he will get rude, cheap and you will feel threatened!! • Overall there are better options available in Ranikhet."
