Itria Palace ★★★★
"The room is spacious. The location is good and parking was easy to find. The scenery was beautiful...."
LUS GARDEN ★★★
San Giorgio Palace Hotel Ragusa Ibla ★★★★
"Ragusa is as good as ever. I stayed at this hotel at the same time last year, and I returned to Ragusa this year to see the same view and the same hotel."
Ibla Rooms ★★★
"Friendly staff and great location. Very modern and clean! Located in a tiny street so need to wheel your luggage in but only a short 2min walk. Would stay again!"
Hotel Il Barocco ★★★
"I stayed at the hotel il Barocco for a week over Christmas as part of a walking/sightseeing group. It’s a small family run hotel centrally situated in a quiet side street in Ragusa Ibla. It has every facility but is more traditional than ultra modern. The management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable although the bed was a little on the hard side for my liking but I slept well. The rooms had a small fridge and a kettle for making tea or coffee, a hairdryer and were well equipped. The shower was always hot. The WiFi was good. My ground floor single room only had a tiny balcony overlooking a quiet backstreet but some double rooms on an upper floor had a larger balcony with a view over the town. There was a pleasant lounge to relax in before dinner and a bar. The buffet breakfast was superb and tea and coffee was made to order. Local products were provided and delicious home made cakes! The hotel provided us with a traditional evening meal on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was very good but there was just too much food with several courses! On the other evenings we ate at local restaurants only a short stroll away. There was an attractive courtyard terrace in front of the hotel that must be very pleasant during warmer months. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cosy, friendly small hotel centrally situated in Ragusa Ibla."
Mediterraneo Palace Hotel ★★★★
"Nice environment and spacious room. However, customers should be given detailed information about the city tax and mini bar. In some other places the mini fridge is stocked for customers convenience. Let them know the extra payments that may accrue at the beginning of the contract. Above all, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"
La Corte di Ibla ★★★
"The property is located right in the historic center. It's not accessible by car, but a 10-minute walk. The Duomo is a 5-minute walk from the property. The property is clean. There are breakfast bars nearby."
Villa Del Lauro ★★★★
"The hotel has a central location between the upper and lower towns of Ragusa. The hotel reception/porter staff (they do multiple jobs) were friendly and exceptionally helpful—especially staff member Christian, at the front desk. The hotel building has charm, with a genteel antique atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is basic—no cooked items. It was pleasantly presented in a charming dining room. The hotel has no elevator. It was 38 steps from the lobby and my room. Even more importantly, rooms are in need of repair. In my friends’ first room, the sink was unusable. In the room they were then moved to, the shower hose had holes, plural, so it sprayed water everywhere. I think this hotel has potential, even without an elevator, but under current circumstances, I cannot recommend it."
Artemisia Resort ★★★
"The Artemisia Hotel is a bit far from the Ragusa town centre, it caters for travellers with self drive transport. On the other hand, the rooms are spacious and well equipped with ample drawers and a wardrobe for storage. The hotel reception staff is friendly and helpful. It has a good size swimming pool which is a blessing in the hot summer months. Breakfast is rich with excellent choices. I highly recommend it."

Acacia Marina
"We have stayed in many 4* hotels across Europe, (generally travelling with Tui), and so can only make direct comparison with previous experiences. We probably paid £700 more than normal so we had high expectations. The facilities and location of the hotel were good. The reception and waiting staff were very friendly, helpful and clearly work hard. The facilities are modern and well kept. The gardens and communal areas are well maintained. We visited outside of the school holidays, so did not experience many families with children, however the only area truly for adults only is the smaller pool. On arrival you are given a pool/beach towel - if you want to change it during your stay it will cost 2 Euros each - not excessive but not what we expect. The food can only be described as mediocre - limited salads, no dressings, main courses somewhat limited in choice although on a few nights there was a chef preparing dishes to order (some fish/pasta dishes - he was clearly passionate about his food). No fresh juice at breakfast (just squash) and if you like cake you will be fine. Halfway through our stay a coach party of 40-50 adults arrived. Unfortunately, all the waiting staff's attention was diverted to attending to them at the expense of the other guests. We do not blame the waiting staff at all, but someone in management should ensure there are sufficient staff to accommodate the increased number of guests. The speciality cooking was absent on these evenings. The rooms are modern and generally clean. Our only complaint would be that the sheets were not changed at all during our seven-night stay. Conclusion - won't be going back, could do better."
Acacia Palace
"I don't know on what basis they gave 4 stars, carpet full of stains, broken toilet seat, the double bed is actually two joined beds, the curtains are so thin that they can't darken the room, and all this in a delax double room paid €240 a night... certainly with this price we expected much more"
Locanda Don Serafino Historical Boutique Hotel
"We spent 3 lovely days at Locanda Don Serafino. We had a very comfortable, well appointed room and very lovely breakfasts every day. The old town is so charming and rustic. The staff at Locanda were so friendly and so accommodating. Guisseppi and Georgia at the front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful. We highly recommend visiting Ragusa and Locanda Don Serafina in your travels thru Sicily. "
Casa Orfeo
Villa Boscarino
"This is a stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are well appointed and larger than a modern hotel and feel special. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast is OK, although not really anything special. But it is a long way from Ragusa Ibla (old town), and you need a car - 4k by road to the nearest car park. But don't let that put you off as you will probably be in a car anyway. The staff were all really great and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The only thing that we weren't too keen on (in May) was that the sun disappeared from the pool area a little early, and would be the only reason we might look elsewhere if we return, but we did enjoy our stay."
Aura Club - Villa Carlotta
"Stay away from this hotel. The listing states it is a 4 star hotel. It is barely a 3 star. we have stayed at many hotels in Italy and Europe and this must be the worst one we have ever visited. To begin with, the staff doesn't wear name tags and dresses as if they are on the street. Torn jeans and t shirts. There is NO WIFI or INTERNET. This is not an exaggeration. Unless you have a phone plan you are out of luck. THERE IS NO HOT WATER, PERIOD. Stayed 2 nights and never had any hot water. Had the engineer and others attempt to make it at least warm and all they did was shrug. The breakfast was meager with no staff monitoring whether anything needed replenishment. Things not eaten on our first day showed up on the seond day. Still not kept cool with ice or any other method of keeping things cool. On the surface, this hotel appears to be a 4 star hotel with a beautiful swimming pool and other amenities, but this is deceptive. Underneath, it is worn and needs much upgrading to be even a 3 star. How anyone could give this anything but a 1 star is beyond us unless they are travellers who aren't very discerning or are unwillig to look beneath the surface. But how could anyone ignore no hot water and no internet. our suite had a gorgeous jaccuzi, which, again, was impossible to use because NO HOT WATER. Book a stay anywhere but here. Even a motel 6 has hot water."
Giardino Sul Duomo
"The hotel is beautiful, very friendly staff and wonderful services"
Eremo Della Giubiliana
"I was in the Eremo for shooting pictures for a book "hidden gems in Italy". And indeed, this is a real gem. The combination of history and luxury is tasteful without being sterile. Lovely memories of this place. And the staff, people to remember for many years."
Poggio Del Sole Hotel
"All very good, both hospitality, comfort and restaurant service"
Relais Antica Badia - San Maurizio 1619
"Great location and unique rooms. Wonderful breakfast selection"
Palazzo Antoci
"Thank you Rafaela and Giovanni for having received us as beloved guests in your spirited family palazzo. We loved everything, from the elegant room to the delicious breakfast, and appreciated your recommendations in terms of visits in the beautiful Ragusa and further."
B&B Giardino di Pietra
"What an unexpected treasure in the heart of baroque Ragusa Ibla. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast. Friendly and helpful management. I even managed to book a relaxing massage in the spa. If I could give a 6 out of 5, I would. Highly recommended!"
Beda Ragusa
"Clean, simple and very nice accommodation, equipped with every comfort, 5 minutes walk from Via Roma. We found the information that the host sent us via the app he created specifically for it to be very useful. Self check-in was very convenient given that we arrived in the evening. Recommended!"
P43 Sicilian Suites
"Amazing hotel and amazing showcase of morality and integrity Love it and will come back and i am sure many will go too, because in this life we need to show what is right an what is wrong. And they showed it."
La Casa di Matilde
Only for Two Giumbabulla Home and Spa
"I wouldn't know where to begin to describe the wonder of this place. I would start from the kindness, attention, attention and hospitality of the owners. Two very kind and loving people. The spectacular suite. We were amazed from the first moment we entered. Attention to the smallest details, comfortable for every type of need. Relaxing, pleasant, I would even say luxurious stay. A breakfast fit for a King! There was food for all tastes and in huge quantities. Congratulations and I absolutely hope to return. Thank you!"
