"This hotel is super close to Wanda Plaza, making it really convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Parking right outside the entrance is a breeze too. The surroundings are lovely, and an evening stroll by the lake is absolutely picturesque. The hotel rooms are carpeted, which really helps with soundproofing, and the bathroom is quite spacious. The hotel even offered a room upgrade, but I was too lazy to repack my things, so I just stuck with my original room. The toiletries provided are excellent, and the large bathtub is definitely a highlight. Even when it's chilly outside, the indoor temperature is perfectly comfortable – unlike some hotels that can get overly warm. This place had the ideal temperature and even came with a humidifier. Oh, and I particularly loved the pillows here; they were so soft and cozy. The breakfast spread was extensive. There were so many items in the room that I didn't really take many photos."

Breakfast is rich and delicious, and the afternoon tea is both beautiful and tasty. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and their responses were prompt. We received a free room upgrade; the room was quite spacious with smart controls, clean, comfortable, and quiet, with good soundproofing. Parking was convenient, and disposable amenities were well-stocked. Coincidentally, we happened to be there during a scheduled power outage for maintenance by the local power company. The power was off for an entire day, from around 8 AM until after 6 PM. A power outage notice was issued five days in advance, but the hotel did not inform guests beforehand nor did they have any contingency plans. Room phones were unusable, the front desk phone couldn't be reached, and the WeChat housekeeper was unreachable, likely due to a computer login issue. Laundry was soaking in the machine all day. Guests on higher floors had to climb stairs, which was inconvenient for those with mobility issues. The smart-controlled curtains couldn't be opened, and the toilet couldn't be flushed. After power was restored, the Wi-Fi was not working properly, and there was no signal for digital TV. The hotel offered no compensation for any of this."

"I always choose to stay at the Wanda Realm Qiqihar. The service is attentive and welcoming, and the facilities are comprehensive, including Chinese and Western restaurants, a gym, and a pool. The rooms are clean and tidy. Toiletries are well-stocked, the bedding is comfortable, and the mattress firmness is just right. If you order something, a small robot will even deliver it directly to your room. The transportation is also very convenient. All in all, I highly recommend it to everyone visiting to see the red-crowned cranes and to enjoy some barbecue. Five-star rating!"

"We chose this hotel because it was ranked number 2, but it didn't meet our expectations after check-in. Pros: The staff service was very enthusiastic during check-in, and a gentleman with glasses helped with our luggage. Disposable bath and hand towels were provided at check-in. We received some small snacks at check-out. The room also came with complimentary fruit and drinks. Cons: The room was quite small; once our luggage was in, it was difficult to move around. The bathroom was also cramped for two people getting ready. Upon checking in, we noticed the toilet wasn't properly flushed, making us wonder about the cleaning standards. Later, we found mold spots on the duvet. We reported it to the front desk, and the staff handled it promptly by replacing the bedding. They also sent up some extra fruit. A very important point: the soundproofing is really poor. At night, even the slightest noise from the hallway, like doors closing in neighboring rooms or children playing loudly, was clearly audible. The light switches in the room glow at night, which made for a pretty mediocre sleeping environment. The hotel also provides some toiletries, but they seemed to be of low quality. The small hair clip provided was already broken, and the face and lip masks were from unknown brands, so we didn't dare to use them. On the second morning, I went to get coffee in the lobby. The coffee machine was making a lot of noise and only emitting steam, no coffee, which was odd. After a long time, it finally dispensed coffee. Only after I had finished did the front desk lady tell me the machine was broken and could only make Americano and espresso. I suggested they put up a sign to inform guests. During our stay, a neighboring shop was under renovation. We couldn't hear any noise in the room, but there was a strong, pungent smell outside the hotel entrance. I suggest the hotel focuses its efforts on ensuring guests get a good night's sleep, rather than providing so many complimentary items. Guests aren't looking to get freebies from the hotel; they just want a peaceful night's rest."

The rooms are large and grand, around 40-50㎡, and the city view rooms offer great vistas. It has that classic 'impressive' feel of an old-school northern grand hotel, so you don't feel cramped. The bedding is very comfortable. There's a gym on the top floor with circular floor-to-ceiling windows, providing expansive views and overlooking the night cityscape. The breakfast is highly recommended, offering both Chinese and Western options, plus Northeastern/Qiqihar local dishes (like dipping vegetables), all of which taste quite good. Overall, while it might show its age a bit, the quality is outstanding, and the service is excellent. It's definitely worth recommending."
