"We booked an apartment which was warm and comfortable, it had been decorated since the photos on the website so we were really pleased as it was better than we’d expected. Anything we needed was dealt with promptly by reception. We had breakfast on the last day which was great. Plenty of choice, cooked breakfast, yogurt, cereal etc. The hotel has a fantastic outlook looking over the harbour. There were signs regarding car parking charges but as we were staying, reception took our number plate and it was free."

"Well what can we say, arrived and it was just a young lad at reception who did not have a clue, we were shown to our room to find a lady hoovering it, went in and immediately we were suspicious of the bedding pulled back the covers to find dirty stained sheets with long black hairs in it, there was empty water bottles in a drawer, the bedside shelf was not attached to the wall, the toilet seat did not fit the pan, my Husband went to reception and said we would like to be moved or at least give us clean shiedp"

"It’s been a few years since we have been at The Crown. It was always well run and the food was fresh and delicious. Well today we went and the food was very obviously frozen microwaved crap and expensive. Will not be back, obviously catering for the one time tourists and not caring about repeat customers. Spoke to a local chap in the village who said no locals use it as it’s so bad."

"My partner and I stayed here the weekend of the 4th April hotel is amazing. Our room over looked the sea and we could see the Harbour also the bed was very comfortable had a good night sleep. We had breakfast each morning and they were to die for the food on the evening was amazing well tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were so pleasant and friendly hey made us most welcome. We would definitely stay here again and also recommend this to friends and family or anyone visiting Portpatrick"
