Hotel du Vin Poole ★★★★

"Always a lovely experience, great location, fantastic food and superb friendly staff."

Premier Inn Poole North ★★★

"Air con worked but was a little noisy. Room had tired decor, was damp smelling and just about adequately clean. Breakfast wasn’t very good value, perhaps with the exception of the sausage and bacon, you could tell they used cheaply sourced ingredients. There were flies laying eggs on display items also which just put me off - they didn’t appear to have a fly exterminator in the restuarant"

Travelodge Poole ★★★

"great hotel and it has rooms for disabled people it is 10mins from the ferry terminal and it has a lovely bar area where they serve food for breakfast or dinner "

Harbour Heights Hotel ★★★★

"Our stay at Harbour Heights was extremely enjoyable! . From the greeting we received from the reception staff on our arrival to the equally warm farewell when we left. Our  room was very comfortable & larger than your typical standard room. The bathroom well presented, the bed very comfortable bed and all other facilities in the room perfect (I was very impressed to find an iron and ironing board). We were very impressed by the breakfast and found the restaurant manager very lovely and helpful. He kept a very tight ship, ensured that everything was replenished the moment it ran out and the staff who worked with him were equally pleasant and very helpful. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner on the terrace was terrific, and what a view! The hotel as in great condition, everything looked newly updated, corridor carpets very clean, wall tiles, bathroom fittings etc., of good quality ., The hôtel was very clean and modern, whilst still retaining its original character. This was our first visit to Harbour Heights but will certainly not be our last. A most wonderful location for a short break,! "

Travelodge Poole North ★★★

"Poole north Travelodge rooms are clean tidy with air conditioning Staff are friendly to a point Food on the other hand avoid eating here at all cost over priced and poor quality food better off with a microwave meal under cooked pizza with almost raw bacon on pink chicken we couldn’t eat dinner and the management where no where to be found left new trainee in charge with no clue"

Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel ★★★

"This was a bit of an insight into Whitbread’s new strategy. The restaurant, based in what was previously run as a pub, was hopelessly understaffed for breakfast. We arrived to find no food, no plates, and staff overwhelmed. The room we had was clean and comfortable, but just about every other aspect of the stay was extremely poor. The building toilets were closed, reception didn’t seem to be manned at all, and what used to be an inviting pub is no longer. In terms of location, this one is a bit out of the way and not much is within walking distance. It’s good as a bed for the night, but the food situation has gone downhill since the new shift in strategy. Hopefully it’ll work out in the end, but the usually reliable breakfast was non-existent."

"A lovely pub/hotel in a central location in Poole. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting out an issue with my booking easily. No complaints and looking forward to staying here again"
