"Chan Beach Resort in Pondicherry is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful beach retreat. Located perfectly to catch breathtaking sunrise views (just remember to face right, not left!), the resort offers a serene ambiance that truly enhances the experience. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about safety, but I felt completely secure during my stay. The resort team is incredibly cooperative and supportive, which made me feel right at home. While they currently bring breakfast from outside, the quality was good. The only downside is the ongoing construction and the absence of an in-house kitchen. However, they may start their kitchen services soon, which would be a great addition. All in all, a beautiful spot with a warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommended for beach lovers!"

"The hotel is in the middle of a busy street. Okay if you want to do shopping, visit the market, like lot of food options. Easy to rent a scooter nearby. Cultural center with cooking class (and more) very nearby as well. But a lot of street noise especially during festivities. That’s why I canceled. Unfortunately did not get a refund. As according to the policies, but I hoped the owner would be understanding or would split the cost. Trip.com was extremely helpful in this case! If you like quiet, stay at the Park Guesthouse at the beach."

"This absolute gem of a place is not to be missed in Puducherry. In the centre if white town, you can access every single place in the city by walk. Driving or cycling can also be fun. The surrounding area is very neat and clean. Do not be fooled by the pictures online, reality far exceeded expectations. Its a relatively new property. Mr. Rajeshkumar is a thorough gentleman who runs the place. His welcome made us feel right at home. His second in command is Ms. Jyotsna who is very sweet and is at your service through the day to make you feel comfortable. They have a complimentary breakfast at Bread and chocolate which is famous in Puducherry and Ms. Ilikiya was very helpful and welcoming there. Overall a must say atleast for 2 nights. Highly recommend."

"A converted old French mansion, it boasts a great pool area although there is no shade. Staff were great and breakfast and dinner were good. Not being able to leave the ac on was a disadvantage to the room but it did cool relatively quickly. Being close to the street was noisy until the traffic settled down. Good positioning In the French Quarter."

Palais de Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience
"A CGH Earth is a mansion hotel set in the french quarter near to the wide promenaded beachfront. The 18 rooms were spacious with high ceilings, and featured its distinct mustard-yellow walls. Due to the compact nature of the hotel, and the fact we were only staying for two nights, we never used the central courtyard swimming pool which in hindsight was a mistake. When checking-in guest were given a lovely drink which had chia seeds and a great taste. Breakfast was delightful and catered to all tastes. The restaurant was open on three sides to allow the air to flow and give great views, and served Indo-French cuisine."
