"It’s rare to find a place that can handle a group of nearly 30 people so smoothly and flexibly. Everything went without a hitch, and the owner was helpful in every situation — even in ways that go beyond what you’d normally expect from a host. The property is clean, well-equipped, and clearly designed with attention to detail. It’s ideal for families or groups of friends who want to relax in a quiet, nature-close environment. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates professionalism paired with personal attention."

"We arrived in the early hours of the morning and did not immediately appreciate the beauty of the Anassa estate. Well come the morning espresso in hand and sitting on the room terrace looking over Mediterranean pines and out to sea was a moment of instant decompression. It’s a rare thing to find a hotel that is instantly so relaxing. Our visit was a wedding celebration held in the hotel grounds, a truly Cypriot affair and one firmly etched in the memory banks, for all the right reasons. The staff at Anassa are deserving of a big shout out always friendly and welcoming but keeping that 5 star professionalism on display at all times. I could bang on more but quite simply just book a stay and find out for yourselves…"

"This little gem is hidden away so be sure to look out for it. The menu was fantastic and offered a beautiful selection of Asian fusion food which was delicious. The price was very reasonable and the staff were very attentive. Could not recommend it more highly. "

"It was a shame that air conditioning was to be paid separately on an €8 per day basis.  Staff were welcoming. Shower system was not holding onto the unit whereas you have to hold in one had whilst taking a shower. Overall, I rate it average for an overnight stay is more than enough for my family. To be fair this is only my opinion. My comment should not be a discouragement.  Try it out for your own experience."

"Really nice rooms and near the beach. The people managing the accommodation are really really nice and they help you whenever you need it. I recommend it for sure. I had such a great time here and I'll come again if I can. It was the best accomodation I have been during an Erasmus-"

Anassa ★★★★★
"This was our first time at the Anassa, we chose it having stayed twice at The Anabelle some years ago, we knew the format and wanted a restful fly and flop holiday which we got. The hotel has a resort feel with low level buildings and we really liked the beach option. The Anassa is a lovely hotel, service is good and the quality of food and drink excellent. We especially enjoyed Helios. Communal spaces are beautiful and everywhere spotless. The staff to guest ratio is high and we never waited too long for anything, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team who were always helpful. The Anassa offers excellent value compared to other hotel groups with similar offers. Some things are a bit tired, mainly bedrooms need a degree of refurbishment, for example the wardrobe doors are old fashioned, beach towels are probably in the final season and there aren’t enough sockets for travellers needs in the right location. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again for an end of summer break."

Polis 1907 by Louis Hotels ★★★★
"The room rate is on the high side, doubtless influenced by the fact that there’s not much competing accommodation in Polis. There is a restaurant on the ground floor where check-in takes place, with a small and slow lift to the handful of first floor rooms. After hours return to the rooms is via some fairly steep outside stairs to an elevated entry door at the rear of the property. Not sure that the hotel would work well for the mobility impaired. Our room was clean and of a decent size. The small bathroom was behind a pocket door with a somewhat rickety shower door, but serviceable enough. Selecting a rate on the hotel's web site with breakfast included would have added €25 per person to the bill, so I’m unable to say what breakfast my wife and I would have enjoyed for €50. Instead, a very short walk took us to Saddles Cafe and Bar where we had an excellent breakfast at half the price. There is parking on rough ground at the back of the property but the ledge to access it from the road was high, so in our low slung car we chose to use public parking in front of the hotel. At check-in we were asked not to leave the car there overnight, but there was no signage to that effect and we had no problem in doing so."

Marion Hotel ★★
"We arrived very late so check in was our room keys left on the reception.. we were greeted by a very friendly and kind English man & ginger cat.. We stayed for 4 nights. Over the coming days we got talking with the manager & other staff members who were all very friendly. The manager in some reviews is put down as” rude” however we didn’t find this the case. Don’t expect too much from the hotel, you get what you Pay for. The ginger kitten is super friendly & a little bit of a menace.. loves interaction from humans. Transfers to the hotel from the airport are quite expensive - do some research and pre book or find a local taxi service. We used nisso’s taxis whilst staying in the area & we found them very good value. Polis itself is small but has some lovely places to eat one being saddles bar. Look into getting the buses to explore a bit further out - the prices are very very good value!"

Akamanthea Holiday Village ★★★★
"My wife and I stayed at the hotel for three nights on a B&B basis. I thought it was brilliant. The buffet breakfast was excellent, fresh and cooked well. The room was a bit dated but was clean and the shower was good. A special thank you to Despina who was such a lovely and very helpful lady, who was working her little socks off. Perhaps the owners could have done a bit more in the way of staffing to help her. The pool was large and there was always beds available. It would be an advantage if you had a car to explore the local area's, as the hotel is quite away from the main drag where you would catch buses. When we return to the area, we would definitely stay at the Akamanthea again."
