Popilia Country Resort
"Accommodation after a wedding, service and dream location! 😍 We'll return as soon as possible!! 💚"
Piccolo Grand Hotel
"Absolutely beautiful hotel, centrally located in Pizzo. The views of the see and village are gorgeous. The hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable. We had a suite with a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is by far the nicest non-chain, non-brand hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a luxury boutique hotel. The staff were very hospitable."
La Dimora del Generale
"We went to Pizzo Calabra to visit some friends and we booked at La Dimora del Generale. The structure is new, clean and cared for in the details. Alberto the owner welcomed us with extreme kindness and availability. Highly recommended!"
B&B Puerto Seguro
"A beautiful B&B with very friendly staff. The sea is about 300 m away. Breakfast is slightly, but ok. Rooms good, was completely cleaned every 2 days by a wonderful and very friendly lady. A car is needed if you want to explore the environment. Recommended."
Tui Magic Life Calabria - All Inclusive
"This was a holiday we had been really looking forward to for a while. A family of 4 with two young children. Firstly the good parts - very quick transfer from airport -very clean -lovely flowers and forest area -no rush for sunbeds, tables at dinner or tables for drinks at the bar etc Disappointing parts - the rooms. Awful steep stairs in room, no stair gate at the bottom -so dangerous for toddler -food, ok but repetitive and everything was veal type meat. -drinks, basic. No normal cocktails on the AI menu, expected to pay for these -ice cream- only available for 2 hours at lunch and 3 hours in the evening.but of course you could buy it outside these hours… -no snack bar, so you have to get dressed for lunch each day - pools were soo deep and all one level. Lack of stairs into pool and weird ledge around the big one -no drinks near family pool -entertainment was shocking. And you kept having to go into the theatre for it. Why would you want to leave your table with drinks to go and sit on a cold hard bench. -departure pick up, chaos. Overall, very disappointing from TUI. I don’t think this hotel knows what it is trying to cater to, and is failing at all."
Galìa Luxury Resort
"I returned after almost 15 days, because I had been there for my birthday and I had a great time and was satisfied with everything... A spectacular and perfect weekend in everything, together with my husband we were pampered and spoiled by all the staff... from the director to Chiara to the chef Andrea who delighted us with his spectacular and refined menus but a special thank you goes to the great manager of AnnaMaria room, wonderful and perfect in every way, great expert in knowing our particular tastes and needs, takes great care of the room down to the smallest details and with great elegance of behavior welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant with a smile and a lot of courtesy, forgetting us up to the table and elegantly and professionally advising us on the gastronomic proposals... Ditto for breakfast and dinner.. I will be back hopefully very soon."
Villa Primaluce
"It’s newly renovated and looks brand new. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hosts Pino and Christina are very friendly and helpful. It is secluded, which we like, but very close to a quaint little town, Pizzo. We booked for a night’s layover on our way from Palermo to Bari. Had we known it was that nice we would have booked longer."
Costa Degli Dei Rooms
Residence Pietre Bianche ApartHotel
"We had a wonderful week stay here, stayed in the ground floor suite which are so specious modern & clean. It’s a very quiet & peaceful place to stay. Vera & the reception staff were so helpful & friendly & resolved all our needs during our stay. Great pool which was cleaned daily, (we had to ourselves most of our stay.). Pino was also very nice & helpful with our safe & small bits we needed doing. We didn’t have a car but was no problem getting a taxi into the local town pizzo which is 5 minute's away by car. With restaurants, few shops & plenty of ice cream places! You can’t really walk as it’s a main road with no paths. Although we did have a walk there along the beach in the day, a bit uneven & lot steps up into the main town square. The restaurant on-site was very nice & lovely friendly people, they opened at 10pm to cook for us on our arrival which was much appreciated. And delicious dishes. We had breakfast most days which was lovely but would be nice to have a few more choices of different breakfast. Would also be nice if there was a small shop or things to buy near by. Would definitely stay here again. 😊"
