Boutique Hotel Portorose ★★★★
"Good property, we had a pleasant stay. We recommend it."
Hotel Palace Portoroz by Minor Hotels ★★★★★
"The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. However, the property appears to have two separate buildings: an older/main building and a newer building. The newer building felt more like a budget version of the main hotel, rather than being of the same standard. This was disappointing, as both buildings appear to be marketed under the same hotel brand and rating, which can be misleading for guests. While the location and service were positive, the difference in quality between the buildings should be made clearer at the time of booking so guests know what to expect."
Hotel Vile Park ★★★
"The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, right by the sea. The hotel itself is quite old and could use some renovation, but most importantly, it's clean. Despite free parking, it was difficult to find a space. Breakfast and access to the heated indoor saltwater pools are included in the price. Both are available at the neighboring Histrion Hotel."
Hotel Piran ★★★★
"The room was nice and clean. The Adriatic Sea is behind the hotel and the breakfast is rich. This hotel should be the best hotel in the old town of Piran, close to various attractions."
Hotel Mirna - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass ★★★★
"Excellent hotel complex, very well located. Paid parking available. Very good, full breakfast. Unlimited access to the Sea Spa and the city's thermal baths."
Rooms Koblar ★★
"Rooms Koblar has been recently renovated and is really up to modern standards at a very reasonable price. It has all the comforts you might want: large screen tv, refrigerator in room, wifi, air-conditioning and heating, parking right in front of the room.Check in is automated, and 24 hours available. On the grounds there is a large terrace with furniture where you can spend an enjoyable evening with a glass of wine. ( This you need to buy nearby and bring along.) Downtown Portoroz is within walking distance and Piran is s short drive from here. Breakfast is not served, but there are various cafes nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful."
Barbara Piran Beach Hotel ★★★
"Loved this place. It's got a 50s vibe decor that's really fun and is on a beautiful location with lots of lounge chairs and stairs that lead to the Adriatic for a swim. The restaurant is really good and so is the free breakfast. It's a lovely 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the Old Town of Piran. Glad we stayed here."
Hotel Slovenija - Terme & Wellness LifeClass ★★★★★
"It was great. Again and again"
Guest House PachaMama ★★★
"A very nice hotel, centrally situated close to the square in Piran. The room was pretty small but the standard high. Although it would be even better if the possibilities to unpack improved. We really appreciated that we could make our own meals when we preferred that and the secret garden was a pleasant place to enjoy whatever meal one prepared. Or perhaps simply a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always made you feel welcome."

Old Town Rooms Piran
"Pleasant stay in a well-maintained property just a 2-minute walk from the city center. Comfortable room with an excellent mattress, which ensured a good night's sleep. Luggage storage available."
Remisens Hotel Metropol
"Great hotel, the kindest staff, gorgeous view, excellent food, no remark on cleanliness, super pool. I was very satisfied with complete experience and will come back. Highly recommend."
Depandansa Casa Rosa
"This hotel claims to be smoke free and yet customers are smoking by the pool and life guard says nothing. The pool by the beach is showing wear and tear."
Hotel Neptun - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass
"Excellent location of the hotel, clean and spacious rooms but disappointing breakfast and dinner buffets, especially regarding the variety and quality of the products. The hotel should also be modernized a bit. Very good spa and thermal pools!!!"
Bioenergy Resort Salinera Apartments
"What can I say, we have extended, that should say it all"
Grand Hotel Portoroz – Terme & Wellness LifeClass
"Everything was great, I'll be back"
Hotel Riviera - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass
"New renovated, top location. It has two larger (indoor) swimming pool complexes, one is next to the hotel + saunas, and one is connected by corridors."
Apartments Vila Barka
Hotel Salinera
"We stayed 5 nights in a recent renovated appartment and had a lovely stay. The appartment was big, with a livingroom of good size with an open kitchen and big fridge. Big terrace with a nice view on the nature park of Strunjan and the saltfields. Modern bathroom and 1 bedroom. It was very clean and tastefull decorated. Airco worked very good and wifi too was good. The hotel has a large garden with swimmingpool. For towels, parasols and loungers, you have to pay extra. The same for the beach. Location is excellent for visiting the coast region. You are at the sea and from the beach, there is a nice view at Piran and you can see nice sunsets. There is no supermarket near the hotel, but the buffet diner is well priced and offers everything you need, 2 sorts of soup, a lot of vegetables and salads, choice of different fish and meat plates, a lot of different fruits, ice, sweet desserts and so on. It is nice to eat on the terrace with garden view. People working at the hotel are very kindly. If you like walking, there are some very nice roundwalks in the coast region that are good indicated and easy to follow. For public transport, the busstop of Strunjan is about 1 km from the hotel, a short walk along the sea."
Hotel Svoboda - Terme Krka
"Beautiful and peaceful spa; spacious saunas and friendly staff. A major drawback is the parking at the Svoboda Hotel; if you're not a hotel guest and only use the spa, the hourly rate is a whopping €3 per hour! So next time, we'll go to the parking lot before the climb (€0.50 per hour)."
Villa Olive Oasis
Hotel Oleander - Oleander Resort
"The hotel's facilities are a bit old, the sound insulation is not very good, but the staff service is still very good, very warm, very comfortable"
Hostel Panorama Portorož
Hotel Lavender - Oleander Resort
"The hotel was OK, but definitely too expensive, even in high season. The rooms were big enough, clean and with a big bed. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is only average. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were a disgrace. The location wasn't the best, right next to salt fields, but there was a very nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. For €150/night we definitely expect a better standard, or at least €50 less per night."
Vila Piranesi Apartments
"We stayed at Villa Piranesi in March 2025 for 3 nights. The receptions, the services, the room, the town, verything was perfect. We continued to our next stop at Opatija, Croatia after the wonder stay, Thats when we found out we have left behind about 800 euro in the bedroom drawer. We called the Villa reception and Ms XXX answerd the phone. She went into our room and found the money still in the drawer. She asked if she can take 15 euro from the stache as postage and send the money to our next hotel. With no surprise we got the money from the next hptel. Ms Mase kindness and honest made our stressful vacation into a very relaxing experience. Thanks you Villa Piranesi. Thank you Ms Mase."
