InterContinental Properties in Phuket

Overall, the hotel isn't particularly good value for money. The swim-up room cost 7500 for two nights, and the room wasn't very big. As other reviews mentioned, the water cleanliness was just average. I would have given the service five stars, as everyone was very enthusiastic, but when I checked in, I told the front desk staff member that I was an IHG member, and she completely ignored me. It was very late, so I didn't press the issue. The next morning, a different young man at the front desk told me that members get discounts at two restaurants: the one by the beach and the breakfast spot. However, when I checked out, it was the same woman again, and she said the discount only applied to the breakfast restaurant, and she didn't confirm if she actually applied it. The massage was good though, the technique was skillful and refined. I guess it depends on who you get, but the environment was pretty good.
