"It was amazing, this was actually the only place near the hq which wasn't booked up so I didn't have much choice but when I got there I realised it was way better than most places I looked at in the town! It was soo quiet and peaceful, so cheap, I got free breakfast as a solo traveller and I accidentally slept through dinner so they gave me a whole fruit platter, panko chicken, spring rolls and chili sauce for free... They also offer great Thai massages in-room for 620 bht per hour. This place is optimum tranquility whereas in the town it's not as relaxing, plus you just take a ride for 100 bht to the town that the hotel organise everything for you. I couldn't have asked for more to be honest"

"Or stay at arts Riverview Lodge was great. The room was exactly like in the pictures. The bed felt really clean however there was still some spiderwebs around the bathroom, which I guess is to be expected in the jungle besides that it was lovely. The hotel staff were great. The food in the restaurant was really good as well and you’re only a five or 10 minute walk away from the town a great experience if you like a jungle stay."

"A fabulous back to nature place in the middle of the jungle. Exactly what we were looking for as part of our Thailand family holiday. It’s the simplicity of this place that makes it stand out, alongside an ethical and environmentally aware approach to running a hotel. Staff just superb, food incredible (you must try the jungle dinner experience), and access to the local activities so easy. We spent time with the local elephant feeding and bathing her, a long tailed boat trip across the lake including a very hot hike over the mountain to the historic caves. WiFi at the restaurant only is a good reminder to put the phone down for a while and reflect in nature. Finally the views from the main restaurant area across the mountains. I spent an hour this morning drinking coffee, watching the birds, and soaking it all up. Perfect."

"Had the chance to stay for one night. The location is perfect for visiting Khao Sok National Park and Cheow Lan Dam. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown on the website. I can confidently say you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!"

"My wife an I stayed here at the very last minute after the war in the Middle East meant we had to extend our trip by 2 days. It is a fantastic place and the staff are brilliant. The food is excellent also, we stuck with local fair but there were extensive western options for the less adventurous. The rooms are spacious and lovely (we stayed in a river view room). The only fault would be more shade around the pool especially but I know they were waiting for replacement umbrellas after the previous ones were destroyed in a storm. Umbrellas can be fairly limited for shade though and it was super duper hot when we were there. The local cave is really worth a visit but make sure you have a guide and we also did the night time canoe which was great too. It shouldn’t be about price but I would say that this was probably the best value for money hotel/resort I have stayed in. The rooms seemed too cheap and made me nervous but really no need to worry and the food and drink is also super well priced. Thanks to everyone there for a really fantastic last minute holiday extension."

"The hotel has beautiful grounds, but I don't recommend the freestanding bungalow-type rooms, as they're very humid inside, even with the air conditioning (the doors don't close tightly). The cabin is also made of very dark wood, so it's very dark inside even during the day. It's better to choose rooms with light-colored walls. However, the bed is large and comfortable, the breakfasts are delicious, the staff is polite and friendly, and it's quiet at night, with only the sounds of nature to be heard."
