"We had a really great stay at Lost Horizon Resort and would happily recommend it to others. Overall, we were very satisfied. The resort is new, beautiful, and well-maintained, and everything was clean throughout our stay. The pool area is especially lovely and a perfect place to relax. The staff were consistently very friendly and welcoming. The food deserves special mention. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and both the restaurant and bar served high-quality food and drinks throughout our stay. That said, the restaurant service could be improved. The waiters were generally friendly but often seemed a bit confused and made several mistakes with orders. Fortunately, the quality of the food more than made up for it. We also joined two excursions arranged during our stay. We were lucky to have Nong as our guide on one of them—she was absolutely fantastic and made the experience truly memorable. On our trip to Cheow Lan Lake, however, we had a guide who was quite disengaged and seemed uninterested in the group. There was very little communication, minimal effort to share information, and overall it felt like the guide was just going through the motions rather than trying to create a good experience. It was honestly disappointing, especially in such a beautiful setting where a good guide makes a big difference. Fortunately, we were able to switch to Nong, who completely turned the day around with her enthusiasm, knowledge, and warmth. A big thank you to her! All in all, a wonderful stay with just a few minor areas for improvement."

"The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The wooden treehouse-style accommodation is surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with the sound of flowing water. The room is well-equipped with a mosquito net, fan, hot shower, and hair dryer. The property is located next to a clear, refreshing river and close to Khao Sok National Park. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage and even offering a complimentary car wash. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of delicious options. A perfect place for a quiet and refreshing getaway. Highly recommended."

"Very friendly service. Magnificent mountain views. Delicious breakfast and large portions. The only thing is that the hotel is located far from Khao Sok (30 minutes by public transport). However, there is a free shuttle at 9:00 and 12:30. But that's not quite enough. It's better to rent a scooter. However, there is another nature reserve nearby - Khlong Phanon. I highly recommend it."

"A hotel complex in the heart of Khao Sok, a 5-minute walk from the National Park. The hotel has everything you need. The pool is clean and open 24 hours a day. Tour programs are available. The breakfast is good. Monkeys live on the property."

"Loved the vibe here! It’s a smaller hotel in a great location right by the main road with stunning mountain views. The walk up the hill to the pool is a bit of a workout, but the scenery at the top is incredible. The only downside was the AC struggle—it took a few hours to really kick in during the summer heat. Still, it’s a lovely spot and very reasonably priced."
