"Four issues with room: fridge, toilet, shower rod, cold water in bathroom sink. I could solve two of these by myself. The most annoying issue was that the toilet did not flush. (No water in the tank. Probably the flapper valve not seating itself after a previous flush. Not sure, because the design of the bathroom counter prevented me from easily lifting the tank lid and looking inside.) I handled the issue myself by filling the ice bucket with water and dumping water down the bowl to cause flushing as needed. I reported this issue to the front desk, and also reminded staff on check-out two days later. The room was clean, but worn cabinets and paint indicated deferred maintenance and cutting corners. Breakfast was late on Sunday morning. Location good, parking good, noise acceptable, staff very pleasant. The bad outweighed to good, unfortunately."
