Beautiful grounds. Lovely historic hotel. Needs an update inside. Carpets and furniture are in really bad shape. Great view and location for a visit to the lovely town of Mt. Dora.

GGuest UserNot sure what has happened but there’s too much noise of other customers in the hallways. Elevator smells like *********. And this place is great location but needs some updating. Maybe laminate floors and remove the dingy rugs.

This is the only place we have stayed every year for the last six years since visiting family there in Leesburg. The staff is always extremely nice and accommodating. Everything is always clean. It’s also right across the parking lot from a great little restaurant called Ramshackle  that has some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted. The only issue I have with this trip is the elevator broke down when we were leaving so we had to carry the luggage down the stairs but other than that, a great stay as usual.
