In terms of cleanliness, it was not good because there was some mop smell in the bathroom.
The location was good, directly connected to the airport.
I had a beer in the restaurant, and it took a while to order because there were so many people.

I stay at hotels that offer kitchens because I have food issues and I have to say the kitchen was so well appointed. I was so pleasantly surprised. Also the set up of the room is so well thought out to optimize comfort and utility. Loved the stay. Street parking, if you don't use the hotel parking, is extremely cost effective and easy if you download any of the Pittsburgh parking apps. Breakfast, according to my husband, was just okay because all of the food was cold and the quality was mediocre, at best. Also, be careful when you exit their driveway. It is a no right turn, but there is no sign posted. We actually saw a person make a right heading straight for head on traffic. Fortunately we stopped him. Very dangerous!! On a side note, one staff member was not overly friendly, but all of the rest were. The unfriendly one was curt and efficient. She did seem to struggle with being friendly. I didn't mind.

Room was comfortable and clean. Location convenient to airport and reason why I booked the night. Close proximity to restaurants. Wyndham reward member and used my points to stay for free. I have been staying in hotels since Aug 1 traveled from St Pete Beach FL with stops throughout GA, TN, KY, IN and PA. Enjoyed this hotel the most as compared to Red Roof, Days Inn and Super 8- they all add up and can't stay at the Hilton for a travel job for nursing when I'm all over. Would recommend and definitely stay again!!

The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast was decent, but not great. The location is fantastic if you're in town for a ballgame. However, my room was at the very north end of the hotel near the highway and the road noises at night was pretty bad/loud due to the elevated roadway.
The reason for my terrible rating on cleanliness is that when I turned down my sheets, I had black flecks of something all in my sheets, as well as a long dark hair under the top sheet I could see. Additionally, I had some sort of dead bug on my side table. It looked like potentially a bed bug, so I didn't get much sleep the only night I was there.
I'd recommend this hotel to stay at with a few caveats of asking for a room on the south end of the hotel as well as checking your sheets as soon as you get into your room.

Service is very good, others are average.
Because the service is very good, it is worth a special review. Breakfast is free, relatively simple, and the breakfast in the United States hotel is almost the same. On the same day at the hotel, I chose to dine on the first floor of the hotel. When I left the store, I checked out. I didn't let me pay again. I offered to have dinner last night. The order has not been settled yet. I reminded the front desk not to forget. As a result, after waiting for a few minutes, he found my bill and told me that this list is free. As for why it is free, I didn't figure out. It was a surprise to get a free dinner unexpectedly. I especially gave it a good review.

We usually visit Pittsburgh at least once a year for a Steelers game. The Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel is one of the hotels that has a great river and bridge view but is also located in a great location within a 20-minute walk from Acrisure Stadium. As you arrive at the hotel, a public parking garage charges $16 per night, is relatively safe, and has no in/out privileges, which is a great option. Ultimately, you can walk around Downtown Pittsburgh without needing your car. We stayed on the top floor, where the lounge is located. The views of the river/bridge/city are worth it, and it also has a lounge open during weekdays only. The lounge is relatively small and sometimes runs out of essentials, such as coffee and breakfast items, quickly, but it may have been my own experience during a hectic day or season. However, I did enjoy the restaurant and bar downstairs in the hotel, where everyone was more than welcoming and provided excellent food/drink options. In addition, both housekeeping and front desk staff were attentive to our needs. As long as we requested housekeeping services through the front desk, we always received them without issues each day. Thanks to Mitchell K. for assisting us with this stay and meeting our needs. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will make sure to return soon to this great city.

This used to be my favorite place to stay when I was in Pittsburgh on business. First, I do not like that Hilton has changed their policy to a $10 credit for breakfast instead of free. I am a diamond member and I should not have to pay for breakfast. Besides, the breakfast buffet has taken a downturn. Eggs are like rubber!! I am supposed to get a $10 credit each morning, I did not get the credit. Once my corporate card is billed, I cannot fix a billing issue. Next, every night I would get disconnected from my internet every few minutes. Then I would wake up in the middle of the night very hot, the AC turned off due to what must be a motion detector!! There is Marriott property two blocks away. I guess I will be changing hotels on my next visit in June.

Quality stay, room was very clean and comfortable. Lobby was very clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very quiet stay, the area says Airport but we didn’t hear a single plane that I could remember. Would definitely stay again.

I was surprised at how much I liked this hotel. Our room was great. It was spacious clean and comfortable. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Honestly the person working the front desk was beyond cheerful despite being very busy. Clearly some kind of event was happening. Parking was also a breeze. Breakfast was standard hotel fair but good nonetheless. We sat on the patio for breakfast which was nice. The location was great. I will definitely stay here next time we are in Pittsburgh.

GGuest UserWe asked for city view and our room was on the 20th floor. Gorgeous view! The room was clean, everything we needed was provided at a reasonable price. The pool on the 4th floor with a view of the iconic yellow bridge was fantastic. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful, with great pointers for restaurants. The next time we go to Pittsburgh we will be staying here again.

Very Good
Great place to stay especially for ”Park and Fly.” Parking is $9/day, free shuttle to airport. Comfy beds, clean, quiet, updated walk in showers with good water pressure and fuctional drains. 24 hour shuttle to and from airport (shuttle will be at Door 8 of the PIT outside of luggage claim and is marked with Fairfield Inn & Suites. You don't have to call as long as you specify your flight times in the booking process/set up beforehand.
AAmy MenginieLOVED this hotel!! Everything about it was excellent. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clean room, great continental breakfasts each morning, etc. There were only a couple of small downsides that I wish they had that they didn't. Firstly, the room I stayed in, the toilet didn't work so great. It almost overflowed the first time I used it. I think it was an old toilet. And the mattresses were too soft for my taste. Also, we brought a playstation 4 with us so that we could play games online and watch netflix, but we were not able to connect to the wifi from the playstation due to the network firewall. But other than those minor things, it was a great stay!! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back in the future!
TTravellerbychoiceHoliday Inn Express is a good hotel slightly away from the main Pittsburg city. It’s provides all the basic amenities, not a very high end but a god place for budget travellers. It was quite expensive during the college move-in days but cheaper than those near the university. Most shopping areas are closer to to the hotel. The breakfast was quite repetitive especially for those staying longer. Basic amenities such as laundry could be better and even a cold water machine would have been helpful.
Weekend in Pittsburgh for a concert at Mr. Smalls, then some sightseeing. This was close to Millvale and the ***** district, and had some of the best pricing in the area for the amenities I was looking for: shuttle, pool, free breakfast, free WIFI. Also hoped for free parking, but even with paid parking, the daily rate was less than others in the area. The hotel is modern and clean, albeit laid out a little weird- you park in the back on the second floor, and have to go downstairs for the check in desk. There are both stairs and elevators, so access is not an issue. And there is a door on the first floor street level, as well as a limited time parking area to pull up to that door and check in if you wanted to. Do not be intimidated by the neighborhood- the surrounding houses look a little worn, and there were some panhandlers around, but we came and went at all hours and never felt unsafe. Do mind traffic as there are some pretty large, somewhat confusing intersections nearby (though that seems to be kinda par for the course for the city). Our room was nicely appointed, and we had a decent view of the city from the fourth floor (facing the main road). There is also a patio/deck on the sixth floor if you like wide city views. The heated pool was wonderfully relaxing, but check if there are towels in the pool area before entering! Breakfast included cereals, breads, waffles, small selection of yogurt and fresh fruit. There were also hot items- scrambled eggs and sausage for the two days we were there. I can't have gluten, so I was grateful for the hot items, but unfortunately the eggs were somewhere between rubbery and hard both days. Sausage was delicious though. And please stock more bananas! The shuttle was very handy, especially when we got caught in a rain storm after walking across to the ***** district for dinner. Make sure you take a card with the phone number at the front desk! The driver was super friendly and knew her way around well. Mattress was a little too hard for our tastes, but the mix of squishy and firm pillows was great! and there were five of them for two of us, so we had options to get comfy with! WIFI was decent strength and easy to connect to. Our room faced the street and highways, but the street noise was minimal. Good blackout curtains, too. Overall, we were happy with our stay. We felt safe, clean, and partner really enjoyed the waffle maker and yogurts at breakfast. Would stay again.
GGuest UserBreakfast foods provided were minimal, including the lowest quality plastic dinnerware possible. Ceiling grid in the bathroom of 312 was rusted and peeling. Shower base was also rusted and the shower door would not stay closed. There was no exhaust fan, condensation covered everything after showering. The chair in the room has a suspicious white stain on the seat. Bed pillows were small and very soft.
Check in/out was easy and staff was pleasant.
OOlga SIt is July 2024, we have been here since May 2024. We are here for my husband‘s job. All of the staff here are extremely accommodating, professional, warm, welcoming, always have a smile on their faces, they greet you ,they go above and beyond the call of duty. I applaud them all, and I hope they get the recognition they all deserve. If they can’t do it or find something they will find someone that can. All of them are extremely efficient and proficient in their positions. The hotel is clean and I feel safe here. The surrounding area is very convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants. Close enough to walk to. Tons of options. The Sandcastle, it’s a waterpark is here. Also, if you have children to entertain. And Kennywood is close by as well. The bike path along the river is beautiful and convenient. The beds are comfortable. The view of the river from our balcony is gorgeous. They do have a bistro down In the lobby area. It is open for breakfast and dinner. They do have a bar. They also have free coffee in the morning. All in all, it has been an enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel,If you are visiting this area. I would definitely come back to this hotel if in the area again. Again kudos to all of the employees! U make this hotel what is it!! Fantastic!!!
I have stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Monroeville, PA many times. The staff, including Lisa, have always been warm and welcoming. I stayed there recently after driving through a bad snowstorm in Ohio. As usual, the folks at the front desk were very nice. It felt like arriving home (almost). The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was large and comfy and there is a sofa for reading or watching TV. The rooms also have desks for work and a sink and fridge. The breakfasts are standard buffet fare but are sufficient. The gym is small but clean and it is so conveniently located near the turnpike. There are numerous restaurants in the Monroeville area. I highly recommend for a mid-level hotel experience.
GGuest UserThis Holiday Inn Express is a dump, every other Holiday Inn Express has been great except this one and apparently management oversight doesn't care as this is another very similar review from others that did not care much for this hotel. Filthy, had to change rooms due to the mold and mildew in the bathroom shower and the sewer odor on the floor. New room on a different floor was slightly cleaner until you see all the hair on the bathroom floor and no fan, after a 1 hot shower, the ceiling is dripping with water. Bought clorex wipes to clean the area. Found a dirty shirt from a previous guest on the floor underneath an ottoman. $22/night for parking is a ripoff and the gate to get into the lot is broke. The entry door in the back near the parking lot, that is supposed to open with your room card, is propped open night and day, must be broke and can be a security issue. Stairwell had trash in it. Couldn't wait to be out of the room.
