GGuest UserI booked this hotel in a hurry, but the experience was great. First of all, it is located in Guanjia Lane. If you are tired of shopping at night, you can just walk back. If you want to take pictures in the morning, it feels like you have booked the whole place. The decoration of the hotel is also very unique, and the lady at the front desk is very friendly. This time, time was tight, so I only stayed for one night. If I go again, I will definitely stay here again.

Facilities: Everything else is good. The faucet of the basin is recommended to be improved. There is a knob for hot and cold water. The hot water is only available when the cold water is turned on to the maximum. And the faucet seems to have no foaming machine. The water is boiled and rushed to the basin. The water splashed around, which is very unscientific.

I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps.
Room and comfort
- The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board.
- Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking.
- Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess.

- Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient.

The hotel lobby is decorated very grandly and upscale. There are various fitness equipment and laundry facilities inside the hotel. There are rooms. The room is spacious, neat and clean. The most important thing when traveling on business is to have a comfortable and clean stay. The hotel is also equipped with a breakfast room, which is quite convenient for having breakfast. There is also Xiangyang specialty beef noodles downstairs, I recommend everyone to come and stay here.

Despite its impressive exterior, my accommodation was in an annex building a short walk to the back. Upon entering the building, I noticed mold stains on the ceiling and walls. The room was also heavily moldy and had a strong odor, so I left the window open and went for a walk. Not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
