The hotel's location is great, very close to the Red Army Bridge and the Memorial Square for the Four Crossings of the Chishui River. The room was clean and tidy, and the whole place was smart-controlled by Xiaodu. But those aren't the main points. The highlight is that the hotel owner also runs a distillery in Maotai Town. He very enthusiastically took our whole family, including the elderly and children, to visit his distillery to see the production process of酱香酒 (Jiangxiang-style liquor). He explained everything meticulously, which was incredibly eye-opening and educational for us. He also invited us to taste liquor and tea in his cellar, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. So, our trip to Maotai Town was comfortable in terms of accommodation, reassuring in terms of drinks, and enjoyable overall. Highly, highly recommend it!

The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is friendly, the location is a little off, but the hotel battery car can take you to Rainbow Bridge, generally it is OK, originally Maotai Town has a lot of parking difficulties, this hotel can park is good. Finally, I suggest that if you want to buy wine, you can go along the Chishui River Valley Tourism Road in the direction of Xishui County to buy it. Many wineries are on that road, and there are stores in the town.

The owner of this 民宿 will never understand how grateful i was for her help. I came for 1 night and stayed for 3 due to a series of misfortunes. When i arrived i had forgot my passport in the previous city i stayed 200kms away. The owner calmly checked me in anyways and coordinated with my previous hotel to retrieve my passport. Later that day i got heatstroke and i fell down a flight of stairs really hurting my tailbone, the owner gave me medicine and checked up on me. My passport arrived in the morning and i was feeling a bit better. Then my phone got wet and broke. The Owner helped me find a shop to repair my phone and finally after 3 days, i was able to leave. Being a foreigner lost without passport or money or GPS is very scary. The owner helped keep me safe and calm. I’ll never ever forget her considerate and caring presence. Thank you forever!

On the side of the rainbow bridge, the location is quite good, but the price of Maotai Town is comparable to Shanghai, and the overall price is quite expensive. The landscape can see a large building on the side of Maotai Town. The night view is beautiful, but a bit noisy. Not far from the Spring Festival, breakfast is included when ordering, but I only knew that breakfast was not open when I asked. There were two buckets of instant noodles and 4 bottles of mineral water in the room. This means that this top breakfast should be used? I don't understand this wave of operations too much. Health is generally good, but in the cold winter, there is no hot water in the bath. Fortunately, I tried the water. There was no hot water for 7 or 8 minutes. I can stop taking a bath. The central air conditioning heating effect is good.
