The most beautiful Northern Xinjiang, with beautiful scenery, drove for more than 90 kilometers and drove for nearly an hour. During the journey, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the green mountains. Then we arrived at the Xilamuren Grassland Scenic Area Hotel. The first thing that caught our eyes was the neat rows of white yurts and yurts. Rows of luxurious cabins complement the blue sky and white clouds and complement each other! The landlady is very enthusiastic and very beautiful! They arranged meals and check-in for us. In the afternoon, we watched the iconic performance ”Legend of Monan”, the image endorsement of Xilamuren Grassland. It was particularly shocking and we truly felt the heroic song of the Mongolian nation! In the evening, we caught up with the ”Welcome Bonfire Party” with the theme of Labor Day in the scenic spot. Highly recommend this yurt on the草原 (grasslands)! The young owner is super nice, always ready to answer questions, and gets things done efficiently without any delays. The yurt itself is clean and odor-free, located deep within the grasslands with fantastic views. It offers great value for money; the food and activities are well-arranged with no hidden costs. It was a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. If you're coming to Xilamuren, you can't go wrong with this place!

Very friendly host

I found this resort from the Internet. It has a good environment and is located deep in the grassland. The rooms are clean and tidy. The boss is so enthusiastic. The food is not expensive and is for public consumption. The lamb chops are delicious and worth recommending!

It was my first time staying in a motorhome, and it was beyond my expectations. The Starry Sky Motorhome was very bright and spacious, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. We watched a yurt performance here, and the children rode a small train and played go-karts. The bonfire party was very exciting, and we all danced together. The next day, we also watched lambs in the pastoral area and drank Mongolian milk tea. I would like to mention that the housekeeper, Miss Li Jiamin, was very warm and considerate in her service, and the children liked her very much.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Now the temperature difference in the grassland is very big. It is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the yurt. The quilt is also very thick. It is better to have hot water to wash. It is convenient for the boss to pick it up. I will come to the grassland in the future. Come to this place, in short, the experience is great

Absolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.

I really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing,and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come.They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome 😊

The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
