La Piazza Luxury Hotel & Spa
"We stayed in the La Piazza spontaneous for one night to do an evening tour with the speeboat to Stromboli. So while we cannot judge the restaurant or the food (we had to leave early in the morning again to catch the ferry), we sure can provide feedback for the hotel: if you let them know your time of arrival, someone will pick you up at the harbour with the golf cart for free. However, the walk itself takes less than 5 minutes so it may mainly depend on the amount of luggage you have. The hotel has a very nice pool with a stunning view and a pool bar. Our room also had a nice view of the bay and a small balcony. The only real downside was that even though we've mentioned our early departure when checking-in, there was no one there from management and the rest of the staff is not allowed to check you out so we nearly missed our ferry (and we speak here of the 0800 ferry)"
Kyma Suites
"We couldn't find anything better in Panarea: a comfortable b&b, completely renovated with so good taste, inexpectable cleaning, excellent breakfast. Thanks and sympathy by Salvador and Antonio. And then I have my turtle that reminds me of Panarea."
B&B da Luca
"Last visited B&B da Luca in 2018 and so it was time for a return trip (with my parents also this time). It is a perfect boutique hotel in Panarea. The hotel is beautiful and they are constantly making improvements. It has a soho house style charm, extremely well thought out terraces, gardens and bedrooms/bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and served by the very hospitable Angela (Luca’s mum). She made us feel welcome like family, and it felt like I was going to my Nonna’s house (albeit a very luxury stay with Nonna). Angela is very friendly and was happy to share her knowledge about the island and its history which is fascinating. Luca was a great organiser, he remembered us from 7 years before and was helpful in organising boat trips for us so everything was booked before we arrived. The boat trip he booked with Francesco was amazing, a truly luxurious boat and we all felt like celebrities for the day. We will be back again and would recommend this gem of a place to all our friends."
Hotel Lisca Bianca
"This was my first visit to Panerea. It had been talked up so much I was hoping for an experience that would blow me away. First I want to say the view from our terrace and the proximity to the dock was fantastic. Unfortunately that did not make up for the areas where it was lacking. The bed, sheets and pillows were the worst I have ever slept on. The mattress was like a rock as were the pillows and the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. I believe if the owner or anyone in management slept on these one night they would replace them in every room as the consensus amongst guests was they were extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the patio needed a good cleaning. The pool had trash thrown in it. Breakfast was just OK. You had to ask at least three times to get coffee and then it was just warm. There were stairs with no lighting forcing us to use our phone flashlights. I will say the staff at the front desk was very pleasant. However a good nights sleeps makes or breaks a place with me. I will not be returning"
Quartara Boutique Hotel
"We treated ourselves to a one night stay here, as we were travelling back to the mainland from Stromboli. We had a double room with partial sea view from the small balcony. The room was absolutely spotless, and the bathroom & shower were amazing. Lovely products in the bathroom. All the staff here are so lovely, and the service from being collected from the port to checking out was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, staff super attentive. This is the kind of place where nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant Broccia was delicious, the crispy shrimp in their thin and crispy coating were some of the best shrimp I have ever had! The restaurant at night was really nice because it’s quiet and off the beaten track a little bit, although Panarea is quite tiny so also not far from anything. We also both had a massage in the late afternoon, i think it was the oiliest massage i have ever had, but really nice! The view from the roof terrace is beautiful in the evening, although the rooms on the roof were unoccupied when we stayed, i am not sure how residents of those rooms would feel about sharing their view! Wonderful stay, would recommend a stay here for sure."
Hotel Tesoriero
"Well-located hotel, poor value for money for the rooms, very poor breakfast, staff always available to answer questions, but you're in Panare where everything costs too much even if you keep your money, very clean rooms, terrace shared with neighbors..."
Hotel Girasole
"I would absolutely recommend this place if you go to Panarea. The location is top: you're a short and beautiful walk away from the island's only sand beach. The staff is lovely and helpful, and the rooms are spacey, have a beautiful terrace and breathtaking view. There's a safe and a fridge, as well as an AC. Breakfast at first seemed disappointing (aka Italian style consisting of little more than a cornetto and a coffee), but it was enough to ask for some tomatoes, cheese and fruit, and soon the staff was going out of their way and I was enjoying the most delicious breakfasts. All around a winner! I'm looking forward to my next stay :)"
