"The staff was tremendously friendly and welcoming. It is a little more expensive than some of the other places in Pakse, but the quality far exceeds the price of a night. I stayed for three nights, and I will be back again. The wooden accents and friendly smiles make the place warm and inviting. The pool is a nice place to spend an afternoon, and the porches overlooking the pool are great for reading a book or just takin it easy. One of the managers, Ying, and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and give good advice on things to do around town. Breakfast is good, and I have a weird diet. They were very accommodating. The restaurant out back is open later than most other places in the city, and the food and service is good, too."

"My wife & I had the pleasure of staying here for 6 nights. Ngoc (the owner and main host), was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning she was an absolute star/angel, always smiling and very professional, excellent cook, helped us out with tours & transportation, recommendations etc. She in an outstanding chef and we couldn't wait to eat the next meal! Entire stay was very authentic and living with a Laotian family. Rooms are basic, but very spacious with comfortable bed and mattress. Would highly recommend Ngoc and her family!"
