"We were 100% happy with our choice for holidays at "Sole del Mediterráneo": Helpful and kind owners, beautiful arrangement of rooms and outdoor spaces, professional care of the cleaning and an exceptional quality and variety of the breakfast! We definitely recommend it if you look for place for relaxation and perfect position to explore Otranto, Lecce and the amazing Adriatic coast of southern Salento. A bunch of good places for dinner around with local wines and dishes. We spent few nights in other accomodations in Puglia but never found the high standards and quality of treatment of the guests that " Sole del Mediterráneo" offers. "We stayed in this mass for a week, and despite being the August centre, we spent it in total relaxation. The hotel is located in a more isolated parallel road, near the center of Otranto and the beaches of Alimini and the Bay of Turks, but it is a great parking and breakfast with a wide selection of cakes and sweets and very friendly staff. The rooms are a little small, unique bad, with water in the shower, but every morning they were cleaned and switched towels. Recommended!"

Great staff, really helpful and accommodating. I know this sounds too good, but this is a real, individual review."

"We loved Palazzo Papaleo. While it was a little challenging to find, it was worth it. If you have heavy luggage, call ahead of time so they can send help. You cannot get your car nearby. Service is what makes this place. If you’re lucky enough to go when Sasha is there, he will take care of you. Front desk staff was also great. Breakfast on the rooftop is perfect with great views. It’s located in the old town which is charming & a close walk to everything. I will recommend to anyone traveling to this area."

"Great location with just a short walk into town. The room was okay but we were informed on arrival that the hotel controlled the room air con and not us, to turn off the air con you would need to open the door to the terrace, we were on the ground floor so this was not suitable. The room was absolutely freezing all night. Breakfast was exactly the same every day and poor quality. The bar area is in the reception area, on the night of the World Cup semi final the bar was closed so we couldn’t even buy a bottle of wine while we watched the football in our room. The basic requirements of a decent hotel is surely to operate a functioning bar. We were not allowed a late checkout as they had a large group arriving but we did note that our room, vacated at 11am , was still unmade at 15:30. On a more positive note, the pool area is fabulous, most of the staff were amazing and helpful. Now I know the score with the rubbish bar and boring breakfast I would actually stay here again due to the easy access to town and the pool area."

Even after our stay had ended, they went above and beyond by helping us find another accommodation when we were unhappy with the place we had booked next. Unfortunately, they were fully booked at the time, otherwise we would have returned immediately without hesitation. "We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, especially on reception. Our room was large, with two good-sized wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge, and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night, and you can't change the temperature in the room. However, if you go to reception, they can adjust it for you, and then it was great. The hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks, including proper coffees, beers, wines, and ice cream. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along, and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however, again, it does get busy in the later afternoon. We didn't eat in the restaurant however we did have breakfast, it was a bit basic, the selection of items is good however the quality is not the best we've experienced in Iraly. The hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks, and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back."

"We spent four days in the resort with our 3-year-old baby, it was a positive experience, because it allowed us to relax without forgeting the needs of the baby. The staff is very careful, especially sophia that entertains children with sweetness and extreme attention. Fantastic even the boys of the bar always happy and sunshine. Very large and clean swimming pool in the child's size. The rooms are large and all comforts and always clean. Wifi is only negative. I recommend it."

We waited a bit too long for the second course, it would have been nice to have a bigger discount on the 4 euros that correspond to rounding up: too bad. Apart from that, everything was very good. We took a tour of the Masseria and it seemed Top!"

Property: stylish, relaxing, beautiful gardens with the farm animals and super friendly dogs and cats wondering around - it really makes you feel so calm. An oasis of beauty. "A clean well located hotel with breakfast that's adequate. What let's it down is the bed is hard and join in middle makes it very uncomfortable. The bed only had 2 uncomfortable pillows also. We had a poor sleep. A topper pad would solve this issue with 2 more quality pillows. No jug and cups jn the room so can't even make a drink."

"I recently stayed for 5 nights and had a great visit. The place is immaculate and quiet. My bedroom was very large with a window and a huge bathroom with large fluffy towels. The breakfast was generous with assorted meats, cheeses, fruits, juices and coffee. The location is conveniently close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Otranto is very walkable and this is a great location with a kind, helpful staff. The owner arranged an airport pick up and return for me. Brindisi airport is 100 kilometers away and my arriving flight was st 11pm and departure was at 6am so this was an enormous help."
