"Total No Brainer if staying in Puglia near Otranto. Highly recommend to family and friends. Spent 3 nights. Pay a small amount more for larger room. Great location -- easily accessible from main roads AND quick walk into old town area, full of restaurants, pubs, shops, incredible views. Great Hotel parking lot outside with gate. Great staff, really helpful and accommodating. I know this sounds too good, but this is a real, individual review."

"Overall clean and very comfortable. The staff were mainly helpful and friendly. We liked the hotel but it is was a maze of corridors and stairs, inside and out. It was fine once you got used to the layout. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned well. Surprised that there are no soft chairs in the room, just one hard desk chair. The walk to town was about 10 minutes, best out of the back door. The pool was nice but the same depth all over, you can just stand up if tall. The breakfast was typical Italian with a good selection. Just a few niggles that did not spoil the overall experience. The bed was a bit too firm for us and we are used to a firm bed at home. You have to pay 20 euro deposit for each Pool towel and 3 Euro if you want another clean one during your stay, never seen this before. Previous Italian hotels have had a plentiful supply of pool towels each day. The hotel has no drinking tap water available, so you have to pay 2 Euro for a small bottle of water. Normally chilled drinking water is available in hotels to refill water bottles."

Alessandra, Marta, Kara and Anko were so helpful and friendly, The rooms and grounds are immaculate, we had the most perfect few days to end our holidays. The breakfasts have everything you would want, fruit, cereals, nuts, daily changing selection of cakes and pastries. Amazing cheeses and meats, a feast. They’re restaurant is just fabulous, I would highly recommend a visit"

"This hotel is what I imagine Albania is like: surly staff, mattresses like planks, pillows like slabs of concrete, with the AC is shut off after midnight, leaving guests to broil in their rooms or open a screen-free window to street noise and bugs. The sheets had holes and nibbled edges. When I asked the "receptionist" for a better room, she told us to go to another hotel. Do not stay here!"

"We loved the swimming pool which was a very good size with plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar was great..special mention for multilingual Claudia who went out of her way to make guests happy. Rooms are spacious and well designed with loads of storage space. Air con worked well. Breakfast was good although the self service area is cramped and the coffee was poor. Restaurant is pricey..the most expensive of our 2 week Puglian trip. Evening shuttle service to busy Otranto was a life saver. Great location for exploring the Salento. Galatina, Gallipoli, Lecce within easy reach. Nearby is the remarkable bauxite quarry and a very pretty bay at Orte, accessible by a 15 minute walk from the bauxite quarry car park."
