"Leon’s coach trip to Ostend. Hotel basic yet comfortable. Glad it had a swimming pool. Bed and breakfast included. Wide choice to self service breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bathroom smelt of cooked food? Lift to floors very small and slow but saved going up stairs 4day trip unfortunately the Leon’s coach broke down on the way which meant we had our trip to Antwerp cancelled, no redress from Leon’s Coach company!"

"We first stayed at this hotel back in August 1978 on our honeymoon! For many years we have walked past it on our regular trips to the Belgian coast but this time decided to stay there for 3 nights on a short break. It has certainly been fully refurbished since our last visit. Very smart, helpful staff and a lovely room (Junior Suite). Comprehensive breakfast choice and a very nice bar. Location right near the main beach and facilities."

"Location of this B&B is good, easy walking distance to the beachfront and to the center of town. The place doesn't offer parking, but can give you tips when and where to park. We spent quite some time trying to find street parking, and managed in the end, but it took some effort. Not the responsibility of the B&B to offer parking, but something to be aware of. Timing can be important in finding parking (Saturday afternoon turned out to be a poor choice of arriving). We were welcomed with a cup of coffee and a nice chat with the owner, a very good first impression and start of the stay. Our room/studio was at the top floor. The stairs are typical Dutch/Flemish steep and narrow. Not a problem for us, but another thing to be aware of, especially if you have heavy or bulky luggage. The room was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed. It also had a terrace with a nice view over the rooftops. Breakfast was excellent, freshly made and served every day by the owner. He also explained what everything was and where it was sourced, which added a nice touch. The owner also gave us tips of what to do and see in the area, and there is also a host of information in the common room of the B&B. Overall a very nice stay, and definitely recommended."

"Great hotel in Oostende for a small budget. Good location, close to bars and restaurants. Easy to find and good service. Rooms are not big if you travel with big suitcases, but manageble. Just a few steps and you'll be at the beach to enjoy the Belgian coast."
