"We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of August and were blown away, we felt as though we were staying in a small boutique hotel. The room was exceptional, clean and extremely well-equipped. The whole property was so thoughtfully decorated with traditional Portuguese touches and it was so lovely to see so many family heirlooms being used, we felt as though we were staying with family rather than hosts. The pool area was never crowded and there were plenty of comfortable sun-loungers with umbrellas for shade. Breakfast was wonderful and all staff were incredibly friendly. We wish this family every success for the future and will be certain to stay again - a true Algarvian gem!"

"If only I'd trusted the negative reviews. Picture the scene: a woman in her 60s travelling alone to a foreign country, to be met at the airport by a taxi driver - not the 'free shuttle' she'd been promised - who could say only that the room had been cancelled and he'd been asked to take me to another hotel. Frantic attempted communication with the owner ensued, but he wasn’t answering his phone. My only option was to search for alternative accommodation for the evening – I had booked an apartment for the rest of my stay. Thanks to B&B Hotel for stepping into the breach. However, the taxi cost me 30 Euros. Had I known I would’ve needed one, I could have had an Uber for 10. I tried messaging Gino the next day to find out what had happened, only to be told that he needed to return to Belgium on ‘urgent family business’ and had to close the hotel. Strangely enough, every search engine showed that it was open and available that evening. Avoid, if you don’t want unnecessary trauma right at the start of your holiday."
