Great roof terrace , gust kitchen for cooking/ preparing lunch , a large fridge for guests use and a well sticked honesty bar The owners cannot do enough for you , the breakfast was truly the best hotel breakfast I have ever had . And the good news is we still have another night to enjoy."

"A beautiful castle built on a hill. I was a little nervous about the steep slope leading up to the trip, but when I arrived I was moved by the beautiful old castle that looked like something out of a fairy tale. It was about a 30 minute drive from Malaga Airport and about an hour and a half drive from Granada. The taste and service of dinner from the rooftop with a great view is excellent. The recommended Ronda red wine was also delicious."

"This hostal has been renovated to a very high standard. Beautiful decor and room design with plenty of space and a balcony. Great walk in shower. Air conditioned and smart TV. Nice touch with a few complimentary drinks in the mini fridge with communal coffee dock on each floor. Plus a lovely communal terrace with comfortable seating and decor. Would highly recommend a stay here. There was an issue with the air con on the first day but they moved the room straight away and the staff were very attentive and efficient. Great restaurant on site with discounts for guests. "

"The location, in the mountains above Marbella is wonderful. When we arrived the public areas looked welcoming and comfortable, however the room was very much 2 star with cheap furniture and a cramoed bathroom with towels that had seen better days. The pool needed a good clean, so we didn't use it. However, we enjoyed an evening on the terrace with drinks before our meal. The meal itself was far better than we expected with some unusual and imaginative dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. So we were looking forward to the breakfast. Sadly it was dismal. A bread roll served with some margarine and a tiny portion each of pate and jam. I asked for, and received some tomato and oil, but clearly that put them out. There were a few drying pieces of watermelon and a tiny piece of sponge cake. And the worst coffee I have ever had in Spain. Such a shame, because it is so easy to create a great breakfast, just with a few tweaks. Maybe a croissant, some jamon, fresh fruit etc. And decent coffee! "
