Villa Varosh ★★★★
"Villa Varosh is situated in a prime location, with easy access for cars that can approach right next to the entrance. It’s also conveniently located in the old town, making it easy to explore on foot. The villa offers a beautiful view and clean accommodations. The management responds promptly to inquiries, and the prices are reasonable."
Villa Chingo ★★★
"It's just too far from the ancient city. It would be convenient if you drive yourself... Because I don't have a car and the public transportation in Ohrid is not convenient, I changed hotels later. The owner sent me to the new hotel for free. Thank you very much!"
SU Hotel ★★★★
"Clean and nice hotel, you can book the lake view room, easy to go everywhere"
Hotel Granit ★★★★
"We visited as a couple early June for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel and pool were clean and well kept. Rooms were dated but we don't mind as long as they're clean. We had a lake view and the view was stunning. The all inclusive bar is minimal, soft drinks are available to free pour however alcoholic drinks consisted of a beer, Gin, Vodka, red or white wine and Rakija (Macedonian Spirit) this is previously mentioned in other reveiws so we were aware of it. The only all inclusive bar is at reception level which is 3 floors above the pool level. However - there is a pool bar but it wasn't open at the time we stayed due to the season not officially starting. I believe this should be mid-late June. We found all staff friendly and as helpful as they could be, if they didn't know the answer they would say! WiFi was free and decent speeds as well as reaching to the far end of the pool. If you get chance to go in the lake we would highly recommend as it's so fresh and warm!! As a vegetarian I always check hotel reviews and had seen the food wasn't fantastic for veggies however there was always a large selection of salads, breads, fruits, cheeses, potatoes ect but we did eat out a lot. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of hot and cold meat, yogurts, fruit, cereals, hot and cold drinks, cheeses, breads - we had this every day and a couple of lunches in the restaurant. The all inclusive drinks did end at 10pm but I'm not sure if this was due to the season not officially starting or if this is just their policy, there was background music but no entertainment. The centre was a 1.45hour walk for us at an average pace but it's worth the walk and wander as there's some lovely bars and restaurants on the way as well as getting a variety of views! I would recommend the hotel and we would stay again however if you are expecting a massive selection of late night drinks, food and entertainment this isn't for you. They are a country relatively new to tourism (UK tourism has only been going 2/3 years) and you can tell it's being worked at however it isn't what a lot of people 'expect' compared to some countries with a good reputation for tourism. Hotel Drim ★★★★
"I am right now in the hotel. Walked 5 stairs because the elevator does not work, AGAIN. The breakfastroom... During the week there is 1 coffee/tea machine. The other day even this one did not work. In the weekend there is another one but this one does not give hot water. The hotel needs a renovation. It is in poor shape. WIFI, in the room it comes and goes. In public area it works slow. I stopped doing my work! The restaurant, down stairs, (not the buffet) was very nice. It really is not a 4 star hotel."
Villa Old Town ★★★
"The landlord is so cute. The view is great. Very cost-effective👍"
Vila Europa ★★★
"We are a Norwegian well travelled couple in our mid-50s who stayed at Vila Europa for a week, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful holiday for us. Despite the road running right past it, the location is remarkably peaceful. It’s a small boutique hotel with just 12 rooms, and the service is fantastic. Housekeeping came every day. The hotel’s private beach is just across the road, equipped with high-quality sun loungers and parasols. This little beach offers the same sense of calm and relaxation as the hotel itself, with a subtle touch of understated exclusivity. The food is outstanding too, and the restaurant service matches it. Its popularity and quality are evident from the fact that it’s well attended by guests staying elsewhere, not just hotel guests. If you’d like to visit the town of Ohrid, it’s easily reached by local minibus, which runs every half hour and takes just 15 minutes. We had an incredible week here and were wonderfully looked after, in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. For the record, we have no connection to the owners or staff, and we are not being paid or compensated in any way for this review — these are simply our honest impressions as guests. In short: Vila Europa is a little paradise by Ohrid, and we recommend it as warmly as possible."
CHATEL - Boutique Suites
Villa Pupin Gorna Porta ★★★
"The hotel is so close to center. Perfect position and very clean beds we loved."

"I really enjoyed my time in Ohrid due to this apartment. Thanks to Daniel for warm welcoming"
Park Lakeside Ohrid
"The rooms and the entire hotel are old, neglected, and dirty. There were underwear belonging to former guests in the room. The elevators were broken. The breakfast area was so filthy we couldn't even eat breakfast. They didn't even provide glasses. The hotel is understaffed. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Definitely don't choose this hotel."
Hotel Bluebell
"The hotel offers a beautiful view of Lake Ohrid, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the day. The weather was lovely during our stay—warm and sunny during the day, and slightly cool and very fresh in the evenings, which made it pleasant to sit outside or sleep with the windows open. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quite comfortable, providing everything we needed for a restful stay. While the bathrooms and toilets were a bit old and could use some renovation, they were functional and clean enough for a short holiday. The breakfast, unfortunately, was below expectations—limited options and not very satisfying. However, the large swimming pool was a big plus, and it only took about six minutes to walk down to the lake, which was very convenient. One of the things we appreciated most was the lack of mosquitoes or insects, which made our evenings much more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great night’s sleep and felt well-rested and refreshed by the end of our stay."
Villa Dislievski
"It is horrible!! Firstly, he accepts only cash - no receipt provided! Tax evasion at its finest !! Secondly, there is no parking guaranteed for everyone , we needed to park somewhere else. Thirdly, when you have breakfast, he watches you how many pieces you take and he doesn’t let you have more than 1 coffee/tea 🤮 Fortly, the bathroom stinks! And there is a jacuzzi in the room but you need to pay 15eur extra to use it, he really charges every possible small thing. Furthermore, there is a kitchen in the room but you are now allowed to cook - the kitchen is just for “storing fruits and vegetables “. Plus, the house rules are no noise between 23:00-08:00h, but he was annoying at 20:30h for us to be quiet. Overall, the experience was 0/10 so I would highly suggest not to visit it!!!!"
Hotel Lebed
"Very poor. The location is superb but the hotel is very poor and the staff don't seem to care. The first room we were given had old food wrappers and dirty ear buds in the bedside drawers. The second room was bigger but the balcony door was hanging dangerously from a broken hunger, the air conditioning didn't work, the shower didn't work properly, the phone didn't work and there was no fridge. Cleanliness standards are poor and the breakfast nearly inedible. "
Villa Pupin Saraiste
"Host never showed up."
Millenium Palace
"The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Ohrid. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away. There are a few restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean, but the hotel needs some renovation. The food was decent. Card payments are available for extra purchases. We stayed for two nights. There was live music, which was enjoyable."
