"Refurbished nice rooms (with some stains). Comfortable bed and bathroom. Good ac. Great location. Paid parking in basement. -But! the hotel is lacking some amenities. Breakfast room (and a la carte restaurant) was quite untidy and refill was slow/lacking. In addition there was some noise from hallway and neighbouring rooms. And what I dislike the most was the waterproof rubber sheets they are using. Why do they have to use this under the sheets in eastern europe? It is sticky, clammy and impairs sleep. And in the end.. -I have slept in probably a couple of hundred hotels over the years. This is the first time ever I've had to wait in reception as they had to go upstairs and control the room before I as alowed check out, even they had all my credit card details. Such #bs!"

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience at this hotel ended on a very disappointing note. During my stay I became seriously ill. The hotel staff knew about my condition, and one night I accidentally stained one of the bed sheets due to my illness. It was an accident, and I even removed the sheets myself to make housekeeping’s job easier. The next day, the hotel manager informed me that I had to pay €110 because the bedding was “ruined.” I politely asked why the stain could not be professionally cleaned and requested an explanation, but no evidence or documentation was provided. In the end, I paid the €110 because I felt I had no real choice. I also asked to see the damaged bedding, and the hotel gave me two bed sheets and one pillowcase. However, only one bed sheet was actually stained. I still don’t understand why I was charged for the entire bedding set when only one item appeared to be affected, and this was never properly explained. I completely understand that hotels need to protect their property, and I would have appreciated a fair and transparent explanation if replacement was truly necessary. Instead, I was left feeling that there was no empathy for a guest who had been ill and no willingness to justify such a significant charge. I hope the hotel will treat future guests with more understanding, transparency, and respect in situations like this."

"The location of the hotel is great. You are just besides the big Varna cathedral and 5-10 min walking distance from the centre of the city. There is a bakery and a coffee shop just around the corner and a big supermarket 7-8 min away from the hotel. The Reception is 24/7 but the staff is not very friendly. The room was ok but there was a leakage from the sink which was not fixed although I reported it 3 times. On the other hand, the room was cleaned on a daily basis. There is no restaurant or even lobby at the hotel which is a bit uncomfortable. The internet was good. It is a central A/C system which is not a good option if you have to spend more time in the room. The mattress was hard. In general - compared to other options in Varna, good value for money but there are several details they still need to work on if they want to offer a really good customer experience."
