Wayfinder Newport ★★★★
"hotel have a great vibe setting. we were unlucky to be there on a rainy day but overall it was great and comfortable staying there. 😊"
Newport Harbor Island Resort ★★★★
"Awesome, beautiful weather and perfect location! The hotel is a great!"
Bellevue House ★★★
"Staff and rooms wer great. I highly recommend."
Town & Tide Inn ★★★★
Cleveland House Inn ★★★
The Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina ★★★
"The hotel location was great although may be better for singles than families since the night life was great! The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The indoor pool looked older and not kept up with an unsteady ladder. The bathrooms looked as if they don't get a good cleaning ever, and there was hair on the bedsheets when we arrived. I honestly expected more from this price range of a hotel."
Newport Marriott Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"It's just a very average hotel that doesn't reach the Marriott standard in my memory. At least it feels much worse than the domestic Marriotts. Things are relatively simple and the rooms are very small."
Melville House Newport ★★
"Very well located for downtown Thames Street and wharf areas. Melville House is one building of about 5 in the street that are used for guest rooms. Upon arrival we were put in a different building. There is no front desk but an Innkeeper at No. 31. Check in and check out very easy. Room well appointed."
The Brenton Hotel ★★★

Motel 6 Newport, RI
"Room was not clean, blood stain on sheets, and front desk staff were quite rude. Housekeeping staff were nice and location was great!"
Island House Newport
"The hotel was very clean, super nice rooms, comfortable mattresses. The beds are VERY high so a step stool would be so helpful for getting in and out. Just something you could slide beneath the bed. Also there were no spoons or stirrers or napkins, if you wanted to make coffee in the handy kitchenette area. And it would be very nice to have at least one comfortable chair in the room if you want to sit with a cup of tea or coffee - otherwise you have to climb up and sit on the bed, or on the not-so-comfortable, but handy, bench at the foot of the bed."
The Chanler at Cliff Walk
"Hotel location is very good, service is also the standard of New England old Bed and Breakfast . The house is a similar old bungalow in Gilded Age. There is a fireplace in the room. recommend!"
Gardenview Bed and Breakfast
"Gardenview Bed and Breakfast is a lovely, quaint and cozy accommodation. Mary is an extremely sweet and warm hostess. She is also an amazing chef, providing delicious breakfasts from homemade recipes. You will not find a nicer person than Mary who, being native to Newport, is a very knowledgeable source for the history of Newport, its residents and points of interest. Thank you Mary for a wonderful weekend!"
Hotel Viking
"Historic Hotel in the Center of Newport. Staff was Friendly and helpful. Rooms were Comfortable and Cozy. My only Complaint is the Hot Tub was Only That, a Hot Tub. There Were No Bubbles! The Pool was Nice regardless."
Wellington Resort
Club Wyndham Inn on Long Wharf
Club Wyndham Newport Onshore
"As an owner of a week during the summer and as a previous guest, I love the Onshore. The location and the amenities are wonderful. HOWEVER, I have been a victim of a bait and switch scam connected to the Wyndham and third party rental agencies. Once in the spring, and thinking this couldn’t possibly happen again, and this December weekend. I reserved this weekend 9 months ago for our family holiday tradition. Only to find I didn’t have a reserved unit at checkin. No cancellation notification AND a welcome notification came from the Onshore a day before welcoming us. NO help from the manager! After 3 hours of frustrating phone calls with ******* and Extra Holidays, we were relocated to Wyndham Long Wharf where helpful staff arranged a unit for us. Two crying granddaughters were happy to have a place to sleep. Ironically, 4 hours later - Onshore had an available unit after being told there was no way they could accommodate us! ! TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!!"
The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection
"Location is centered in Newport so walking through the village and docks was easy. We only used the car for excursions. We had our dog with us and the Vanderbilt team were as welcoming to him as they were to us, he was given a bed and bowls. The room, an Alfred suite, was comfortable, clean and luxurious. Mini bar stocked with Nespresso, hot water maker and nice teas, mini fridge and bar sink. Bathroom amenities very nice. Linens lovely and it was very quiet. Because we had our dog with us we didn't eat in the dining room but did eat breakfasts in the library and dinners in front of the fireplace in the parlor. The food was very delicious. We could've eaten in the outdoor garden but the weather was a little too cool. We enjoyed the spa - I used the sauna and my husband had a massage. All of the staff were so welcoming and accommodating - after a day it felt like home. I highly recommend Vanderbilt Newport."
Gardiner House
Admiral Farragut Inn
Mill Street Inn
"If it wasn't for the fake castle in the picture, I wouldn't have booked it. If it wasn't for the fake picture, it would be at least a thousand dollars cheaper. What is Ctrip’s attitude towards this situation? It is most likely a trick played by the Chinese."
The Cliffside Inn
"Facilities are OK, good environment"
