New Hotels in Koh Phangan

"I spent a long time searching for a reservation. It turned out it wasn't a large room, but two rooms with one bathroom. The windows aren't tinted, and everything is visible from the street—you have to cover them. This defeats the purpose of a sea view. All guests can see inside without curtains. There's always water on the floor in the bathroom—you walk around with wet feet. Also, checkout time is 11 a.m., not 12 p.m. Unexpectedly, I had to leave without breakfast. They were banging on the door, preventing me from getting ready. At 6 a.m., I was woken up by macaques or something else—banging on the roof. At 9 a.m., construction workers started work. At night, you can hear guests from the dining room well. The soundproofing is minimal."
