"We stayed 3 nights in Dongwa Village and 2 nights here in Yeli Village, but the accommodation in Yeli Village was much better. First of all, the mountain view was amazing. The hotel was brand new. For breakfast, they gave us coupons for nearby restaurants, so it wasn't bad since it was cold, but they gave us coupons for different places. The hotel view isn't bad, but since the view from Rock Lookout is close, I highly recommend visiting it. The harmony between the lush meadows and the mountains in late June is truly wonderful. It was quieter and nicer here than Dali Lookout. (Dali Lookout was too crowded with tourists who arrived by car.) Also, I highly recommend visiting Lunwugu Valley, which is within walking distance of the accommodation. Enter through the left side of the entrance, go around once, and then turn right for about 6 kilometers. We walked the entire route, but the last 3 kilometers had a steep uphill and a steep downhill slope, and the safety railings were a bit flimsy. If you find uphill trekking difficult, you can just go 1 to 2 kilometers to the left; it is relatively gentle, so it is not difficult. A wooden boardwalk has been constructed through the gorge of strangely shaped rocks. There is a waterfall inside, and the path continues through narrow gorges where you can see the sky. It felt a bit like a cave exploration, and the unique scenery and experience were fresh, refreshing, and enjoyable. The view up to the middle observation deck at Seonnyeotang is really great. I recommend going up about two hours before sunset. It is nice to enjoy a cup of Qingke Shuiyu tea while admiring the sunset over the mountains of wildflowers and strangely shaped rocks. After that observation deck, the steep staircase leading to Seonnyeotang offers little to see compared to the effort invested. There is a small pool called Seonnyeotang. We were disappointed because we had seen many other mountain lakes, such as Jiuzhaigou. Yiseoncheon is not bad either, but if you only have time to visit one place, I recommend Runugu Valley. However, trekking is difficult, so if you plan to go by horse or bus, Yiseoncheon is worth visiting."
