"We arrived at lunchtime, the room wasn’t ready, we were on the fifth floor with a sea view. The carpet had just been cleaned & the room smelt awful. The fridge smelt like someone had died in it so not a good start! The balcony was tiny & nowhere to hand your wet costumes The rep was very helpful & got drying racks for a lot of the rooms They changed the fridge which was positive. We arrived on a Thursday, had clean sheets on the Monday , we were there for 2 weeks so didn’t get clean sheets till the following Monday ! Towels were changed every day not needed . The cleaner came in every day for about 3 mins , emptied the bins but did little else after 7 days I had to ask for the bathroom floor to be washed & the sink cleaned! The food was ok but definitely not 4 star , would not go back to this hotel Lots of very rude russians lots of smokers , not our cup of tea, which reminds me if you are English take some teabags!"

"Not a bad location in the middle of the sunny beach strip and Nesebar 12 euro in a taxi to both places for 4 ppl 15 euro for 6 or little trains for 4 euro each hotel is basic wouldn’t say it was an all inclusive ultra as don’t know what extras you get for that but it was just your basic all inclusive nothing more food ok never hot always found something to eat drinks cheap and in plastic cups most of the staff never gave you a smile or interacted with you upon arrival we never got shown our room had to carry our suitcases to the third floor with no lift no one was there to help never told us about the hotel we arrived late never told us there was sandwich’s at 12 at night we went and paid 18 euro for a pizza and chips shocking really prices are not cheap rooms don’t get cleaned properly sheets and balcony don’t get cleaned there’s no information on how often things get done you get one bottle of water per stay that’s it no coffee tea refills in the room to me it’s a 2*plus that’s all I would rate it the entertainment team a fab the work endless hours and very jolly ppl only down fall kids club through the day is they charge you for things in the kids club night time entertainment is ok but once it’s done there is no music / no music around the pool only when entertainment is on would I go again no it’s not for me been and done it now the place is just not for me"

"Absolutely shocking hotel, not as advertised, à la carte menu definitely not, disgusting slop, we ate out most of holiday as restaurants and everything else out of the hotel was amazing. Doesn’t have enough of anything for amount of people in hotel from food after the locust have taken everything and then wasted it, in the tiny dining area to the lack of sun loungers around the tiny pool, with the pool bar (shack) serving its 3 cocktails and beer. Staff are rude with no manners, cleaning of room consists of emptying 2 bins, fresh towels but no bedding changed and no cleaning of anything else, no hoovering of carpet or mopping of bathroom or balcony floor, basically they don’t clean your room. Minibar as advertised is a mini fridge in your room with a bottle of water, with tea coffee facilities (never replenished after day one), cafe, mini supermarket, kids playroom and playground doesn’t exist. Massages you have to go a few hotels up the seafront to have so not within the hotel as advertised. Advertised as a 4 star hotel when barely a 2 star, not value for money. 2 lifts that can only hold 4 people for the 12 floors and 400 people in the hotel, have to wait 20 minutes for a lift as they just go pass even when called. Bar well if you can call a menu of 3 cocktails and beer then you have a bar but at a 4 star would expect more choice. Advertises room service but no menu or details of ringing down in room. Wi-Fi and balcony lights are controlled by hotel so switched off a lot, so you can’t connect to the tv and internet channels they advertise. Only decent thing is the air conditioning and shower so it you want value for money and not slop for food avoid this hotel like the plague. Security is also an issue as room door doesn’t close properly so need to check closed."

"We have stayed at Blue Pearl hotel for the last three years and every time our experience has been excellent. The hotel itself is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, beautifully kept, and many have wonderful sea views. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, which makes it perfect to enjoy both the pool and the sea with ease. The hotel is also very peaceful, ideal for families. There are always plenty of sun loungers available at any time of day – something you don’t often find elsewhere. What really makes this place special is the staff. They are always friendly, helpful, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I cannot praise the staff and management enough for how well the hotel is run. Without a doubt, we will be back again next year!"

"Here last October and back again - returning to a hotel is a first for us in over 40 years. Hotel is elegantly built, sea view rooms large although as others point out getting in and out of bath/shower can be a challenge. Food is buffet with an amazing selection, particularly breakfast. It is about 2km from the centre, so quiet. As in our 80s we often take the bus opposite the sister hotel one way. It's £1 to centre or £1.5 to Nessebar. Plenty of sunbeds on beach and around pool. We do miss how well towels and beds were managed last time (if a bit strict 😊). The beach is wide and as we seem to be in a lagoon usually very calm."

"Me and my partner stayed here for 10 days and were expecting a lot with it being a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately I’d say it’s a low 4 star, the food was bang average most of the meat and fish dishes were very dry. All the drinks were pretty strong which was good in our case but can be taken either way. Really nice grounds of the hotel however you cannot use half of it!! The other pool on the Helena sands part of the hotel you are not aloud to use - on our first day we were promptly told to leave the pool and told we can only use the other pool. Extremely odd considering the whole resort is connected. However we did have a section on the beach as an extension of the hotel that we weren’t kicked off! Room and general decor of the place felt extremely dated and the bed was also as hard as a rock. They did surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with a bottle of Prosecco and little dessert in our room ( without me saying anything) which I thought was a really nice touch. I’d say it’s more of a family hotel the Helena parks side of things as they were a lot of activities put on by the animation team which is great if you are interested in that type of thing but if not if can get a little irritating them asking you all the time to get involved when you just want to relax. Understand it’s part of their role so it’s a difficult one to judge. Overall decent hotel, great location right on sunny beach strip definitely not 5 stars but a pleasant stay nonetheless"

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the cakes which were exceptional every day. The rooms and all the facilities were maintained to a very high standard, and the location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, bars and the beach. The staff truly made this holiday unforgettable, and we would definitely love to come back again."
