"The hotel was extremely dirty; they didn't seem to clean it properly. Food scraps and hair were everywhere on the floor, and there were dead flies on the windowsill. There was a musty smell as soon as you entered. The furniture was old and worn, and the sofa smelled terrible. I would not recommend staying there."

Pacific Shores Resort & Spa ★★★

"The room looked absolutely nothing like pictures with an old dingey carpet and a tiny 28" TV. The fridge was broken and propped up on one corner with a stack of broken tiles to try and stop some of its wobblyness. The "private ocean view balcony" was instead a view of the trail to the children's park instead. The jacuzzi tub looked like the jets hadn't been cleaned in ages and were so black with mildew, neither my wife nor I thought it to be hygienic enough to use. The location itself was convenient, though, and was just a short walk to the beach."
