Rex Hotel ★★★
"My colleague Sebastian Dirr had excellent experience and hospitality from your services"
Amalia Hotel Nafplio ★★★★
"As always my stay was incredible! Nice location , nice pool . The room was spacious and the staff very friendly. I loved the breakfast"
Park Hotel ★★★
"The Park Hotel is very close to the old town, which is convenient. There is parking available on both sides of the street downstairs, but parking spaces are limited. The rooms are not big. What's annoying is that the bathroom exhaust fan is very loud, and the refrigerator in the room cabinet is also very loud, which affects sleep. The bathroom space is not large, and the shower space is particularly small."
Naus Hotel ★★★★
"Second stay at this place and probably the last. Staff are kind, but rooms ('standard', 'cozy') are so small that 1 trolley doesn't fit! Can you imagine a brand new 4* hotel where you can't open your bag due to lack of space? Soundproofness doesn't exist - we could hear every person passing by, each door opening or child screaming, not to speak about neighbors' bathroom. Breakfast below Greek standards - very limited vegetarian options and healthy choices; peanut butter low quality with palm oil, coffee payable and no fresh orange juice. No body lotion- even if you call reception. There are so many great options in the town, no need to go back to Naus."
Opal Executive Suites ★★★★
"Excellent room that lived up to our expectations. Cozy and warm room, comfy bed, extra amenities and more than everything the kind and helpful staff that was always eager to help us whenever we had questions and helped guiding us around the town. "
Agamemnon Hotel ★★★
"The view is excellent, facing the sea. The castle in the middle used to be a prison, but now it is a hotel. The reception was very warm. I looked at several rooms and chose this one. The breakfast was very simple and free. The location was very good. Going downstairs was the beach, and the view was very good. The town was very beautiful, and the hotel and B&B were also very beautiful. The ruins on the top of the mountain were also very good!"
Pension Acronafplia B&D ★★★
"Older style room and building but still comfortable with good amenities (fridge, aircon, balcony). Location is ideal, right in the center of old town."
The K Nest Hotel Nafplio ★★★
"Nafplio is already one of those towns that makes you question every vacation decision you've ever made, and the K Nest Hotel made it worse — in the best possible way. The hotel completed a full renovation within the past year, and it shows. The rooms are genuinely stunning: thoughtfully designed, not just "recently refreshed." The bed was the kind of comfortable that makes you briefly consider canceling your remaining plans. The water views are real, not the "if you crane your neck from the balcony" variety. The location is ideal — a short walk to excellent restaurants and the Akronauplia, which means you spend your time actually enjoying Nafplio rather than navigating it. What pushed it over the top was the staff. Helpful without hovering, warm without being performative about it — the way good friends host you rather than the way hotels train people to seem friendly. That distinction matters more than most amenities. We were only there two nights, and it was one of those rare places where we genuinely wished we could stay longer. Nafplio is a hidden gem; if we ever had a chance to visit again, I wouldn't even consider any other hotel."
Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat ★★★★
"This was a hotel that grew on us. We arrived in blistering heat in a bad mood after smashing a mobile phone and were dismayed to find slightly weak in our room and that the aircon wasn't on in reception which made it hard to search for a repair shop when the heat was stifling. However. The staff could not have been more helpful. They put the aircon on at our request and helped us find a phone shop in Nafplio. We ordered a snack from the all-day offerings which was delicious. We had arrived early and they made an effort to get the room ready before it was due. We paid for a superior room which I would highly recommend. Room 16 is on the upper floor at the end of the corridor and has a corner position with very large balcony offering breathtaking view of the hills and out to sea. Stunning. Aircon in the room worked well and the bed was very comfy. Blissful silence at night. You need a car, or be prepared to pay 15 euros (Juy 2025 prices) each way for a (very good) taxi service into Nafplio. The tavernas in the local village are charming and offer excellent value if you want a quieter evening one day. Pool area is lovely. I would have liked to be able to swim earlier than 9 am but can see this is done to prevent noisy guests disturbing others as some rooms are very close to the pool. Breakfast was served on the terrace in the shade to enjoy the stunning views. We had a room only rate but enjoyed the set menu approach which was 15 euros for fresh orange, unlimited tea or coffee, eggs, Greek yoghurt etc and a variety of other options, all cooked to order. The service here was outstanding, especially from Giorgia on reception who went out of her way to assist. It's a small hotel in an amazing hilltop position so don't stay here if you want nightlife on the doorstep or don't drive. Come for stunning views, blissful peace, comfy beds, a refreshing pool and lovely staff. Food past 7 pm would be fantastic but, again, I can see why they don't offer this as the place is small. All in all, a lovely stay and I would recommend as an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Nafplio. Village tavernas great too."

Hotel Ippoliti
"We had a terrific time at Ippoliti in Nafplio. The hotel staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. The hotel is located in the old town with its harbour front, restaurants, shops, central square and key tourist attractions. Rooms are spacious with an old world charm which provided a great experience. Looking forward to going back to Ippoliti in the future."
Dias
"A superb hotel in Nafplio’s old city. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, giving us useful tips about restaurants and local sites, as well as background information about the area. The breakfasts were also excellent! A great hotel from which to explore Nafplio."
Espero Royal Stay
Byron Traditional Hotel
"Everything was just perfect. I had a very agreeable experience. It is quiet, comfortable, super clean, and in an ideal location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will stay at the Byron Hotel again during my next visit. I highly recommend it."
ANIMA Premium Suites
"A stunning beautiful hotel combining wonderful design with relaxed luxury. The rooms are spacious and modern. You feel relaxed as soon as you enter. The location is just a short walk from the town. Peaceful and a place to unwind. A big thank you to Angela and her marvellous team. I will definitely be back."
Palacio del Sol Luxury Apartments
"Stayed at this property recently and had a very solid overall experience. The hotel is comfortable, well-maintained, and delivers exactly what it promises. Rooms are clean, functional, and designed with practicality in mind, making the stay easy and stress-free. Service was efficient and professional, with staff responsive when needed but not intrusive. The overall environment feels organized and reliable, which is critical when traveling. Location is convenient, allowing easy access to key areas, and the general facilities are in good condition."
Ilva Suites
"I simply loved this place... !Another well built comfortable place to stay by far on Zakynthos!! Host is very informative and knows all the places to go. Had every thing at hand for breakfast or dinner. This place was the best!! Will definitely be back!!"
Opora Country Living
"A very charming and comfortable place, with a non-intrusive and friendly family touch. The furnishings are country-style and the place is surrounded by olive trees and away from noise. The estate is fairly large and there are two swimming pools, in different locations. The owner-manager has been extremely kind and desirous to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. (For instance, for personal reasons, we decided to switch our accommodation to a house nearer the reception and he volunteered and wired us a refund for the difference.) We stayed for dinner once and had a simple but quite savory and home-made Greed meal. We were very pleased with our stay, which we will remember as a high point of our visit to the Peloponnese."
Pension Dafni
"The room was nice; we stayed in the top-floor family room, which was very, very large."
Athena Hotel
"You can't beat the location of Hotel Athena. Its central location makes getting to the restaurants and shops a breeze. As previous reviewers indicated, there are no elevators so you will have to carry your bags up the stairs. The rooms are extremely small but very tidy. The breakfast is decent and has choices for everyone. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful."
Gambello Luxury Rooms
"I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand, the location is great, the staff attentive and the a/c worked well. It's an older building, so floors squeak. This was not a problem, as our neighbors upstairs were generally quiet. We were disappointed with the breakfast though. The breakfast room is very small, so when the hotel is full, you might not get a table for a while. If you get one, it's really tiny and very close to your neighbor. There were hard boiled eggs, but no other eggs. The offerings were limited (2 kinds of cold cuts, 1-2 kinds of sliced cheese, 1 kind of jam, honey, 1 pie, 1 cake, cereal, yogurt, tomatoes and cucumbers). Not bad, but maybe because of space, maybe to eliminate waste, everything was in very short supply. Refilling everything took time, and there was a single person to take care of everything. Bringing 8-10 small slices of cheese at a time when there are 20 people in the room...it was never enough. But there was no room for more, so I understand why. The drip coffee was very, very weak so we had to rely on the one from the coffee machine, but that one was slow, and again, 20 people or more in the room... The orange juice was delicious. Maybe in off season, when the hotel is not full these problems are not apparent. I don't know..."
Aerinon Guesthouse
Capital Luxury Suites
"Hotel environment is very good, clean and comfortable"
Carpe Diem Boutique Hotel
"Hotel is nicely located with plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast is tailor made to your preference. Room is small, but comfortable and has a balcony. They were very helpful with various questions I had about tours and transportation. I would definitely stay here again!"
Aion Luxury Hotel
"Quite large room, super comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Additionally, the room had a large terrace with great views. The buffet breakfast is quite complete and rich, and the sweets also vary. The only downside is that the hydromassage shower did not work."
Aenaon Rooms
"Quite a way out of town situated on a steep slope . Shower curtains in the tiny shower cubicle. Simple breakfast with no coffee pot in the rooms."
