The Woolpack Hotel
"Very good experience"
Parklands Resort Mudgee
"We traveled as a group of four. We stayed for one night in a room that sleeps 5. however there were only 4 chairs and three forks. It has been newly refurbished and the bathroom renovated. However the bathrooms already show wear and tear with stained grout and silicone. That was disappointing. The bathroom window needs to be updated. It still had the mash opening, so it will be freezing in winter."

"A lovely weekend escape. Gorgeous interiors, gardens and wildlife. 10 minute walk to town. DIY breakfast, wine & cheese platter provided, perfect for enjoying on the deck while taking in the serenity of the gardens. One of the best places we have stayed!"
Wanderlight Motor Inn
"We were travelling through, The reception staff were nice. the bathroom has been modernised, but is TINY and if you are tall you will have some trouble sitting on the toilet without hitting your knees on the vanity. If you had mobility issues you would not have been able to manage in the space There was also a funky smell in the room when we first went in ? Toilet. The bed was comfy. Our room door did not lock properly and had heaps of gaps around it letting in light. As did the old server hatch, Carpet was grubby Commercial kitchen next door, fumes came straight into room. Fittings in room were fairly shabby, although the counter tops looked newish Felt the room was overpriced."
Owl Head Lodge
"It’s a Fantastic and amazing place. Views are stunning, everything thing is impeccable and comfortable. I stayed because I had to go to the area for business, but I will be returning with the family to enjoy it with them. Rob is very friendly and helpful."

Enfield House Mudgee
"If I could give 10 stars I would, this beautiful historic home has been tastefully renovated keeping to the era , it is just stunning, the rooms are huge and breakfast is included which was so big we didn’t need lunch, everything you could wish for was provided, absolutely loved our stay there, thanks Denise for making it so special"
Glenayr Farm
"From the moment we arrived at Glenayr Farm we knew we were somewhere special. Driving past sheep and kangaroos as we arrived at our villa with breath taking views. The peaceful surroundings instantly made us relax and the villa itself was beautifully designed. Watching the sunset from the hot tub with a glass of wine was the highlight of our stay. Our host Rachel was incredibly kind and attentive, I highly recommend the Villa Merlot and Glenayr Farm to anyone wanting a luxurious and peaceful getaway."
Prince of Wales Hotel Gulgong
"Great old pub with clean and tidy seperate accomodation. Own bathroom and parking located in the centre of town. Very peaceful with no noise from bar. Would definitely recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again Easy check-in ."
The Centennial Hotel Gulgong
"The service from the bar girls was very friendly. I ordered lambs fry and hubby had the halloumi kebabs. The kebabs were fine but the lambs fry was a little dry. Very substantial meals for lunch specials. Friendly atmosphere and a good choice of tables. Ours had a church pew."
Wildwood Guesthouse
"I found Wildwood Guesthouse at Mudgee to be genuine value for money luxury. In short, the product matched the description. All bookings at Wildwood offer exclusive occupancy so I had the place to myself for a bit over $200 a day with a fine country breakfast thrown in. Beautiful authentic setting, ducks a’dabbling, cockatoos screeching, kookaburras laughing and wallabies wandering. Bird life quite amazing. Accomodation boasts original artworks of note, open fire and a decent sound system. Cafes and wineries are within minutes by car or 20 minutes on a pushbike, to town. I rarely take the time to review places where I’ve stayed however Wildwood has a real feel good factor and when I compare it to other places offering ‘luxury’, it’s a standout."
Mudgee Apartments on Horatio Street
"We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The apartment was really stunning, the attention to detail was evident - from the quality build to luxury appliances to the stylish furnishings. It was spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was great - was an easy walk into town and some cafes are even closer. This was a great choice for us as we spent a holiday weekend exploring Mudgee."
